CS2 Ric Flair, it was an amazing figure for it's time.

I've mentioned before, the CS line is my all time favourite toy line. The first time I saw them in stores it blew my mind. Back then I didn't really know what would come out in stores as I wasn't on any forums or anything like that. The first figs I got was Bret, Warrior and Taker from series 1.

I pre-ordered Series 1 from RSC ... the very first one at the top of the box was Ultimate Warrior, so that's technically the very first Classic Superstars figure that I picked up.

In 2004, my parents allowed me to open one present on Christmas Eve so naturally I chose the present shaped like an action figure package. I opened it up and it was CS 1 Ultimate Warrior - It blew my mind because I was only 6 years old so I wasn't exactly keeping tabs on who was in what series. I just went to the store, picked out the figure I wanted and that was that (simpler times, eh?). I always wanted a Warrior in the RA style since my only other figure was the green trunks Hasbro so it was awesome to get one in scale to fight against my RA figures.
I remember that night redrafting my list to Santa Claus and adding Hart, Helmsley, Michaels, Taker and Andre to it after seeing them on the back of the box. My mom told me it was too late and that Santa had already left the North Pole but I ended up getting Hart and Andre on Christmas Day anyways. I still wanna pick up Michaels at some point.

I am!? CS1 Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Warrior, Bret Hart, and Undertaker. Ordered all but Andre online, found Shawn in stores a week later. It was surreal to see them in person for the first time.

I remember reading these boards and seeing people finding them. I went to TRU and saw Bret Hart and Andre. Maybe Shawn too. Got Bret. Wanted Warrior the most and eventually got him and everyone else but Andre. I assembled a pretty good collection of late 80s/early 90s guys. Was just looking at them recently after I was going through some old stuff. What a great line it was at the beginning

Gorilla Monsoon a couple years ago. Didn't collect figures until well after Mattel took over, so I missed out on quite a bit.

I ordered all of CS1 from ringside. This was such a bombshell in 2004. I think with all the classics and guys like Bret and Warrior in the hall of fame it’s not too big a deal these days. But at the time, this was the era warrior and Bret had so much heat with WWE. Jakks really never did classic attires, so we never had a realscan pre 1999 undertaker or any of the iconic HBK gear. In fact this was like Shawn’s 3rd or 4th real scan.
When this set dropped no one had any idea. The line up was posted and everyone called it BS. Then just maybe 24 hours later the prototype pics dropped and it was amazing at the time! I refused to let this set pass me by, I also ended up rebuying most of the set (minus Andre and HHH) to keep MOC and still have them to this day.
I bought every CS figure till series 6 which skipped Canada and the online cost was high.
Bret in my figure fed changed everything!

Technically it was the NYC Toy Fair 1/100 Ultimate Warrior. Although I didn't get it until months later. I was supposed to cover Toy Fair that year with a friend for the old Ring of Collectors site, but we had a major snow storm that day and my daughter was sick so I didn't go. But my friend did pick up my Warrior figure anyway and gave it to me when we finally had time to meet up. Which was a few weeks after I found Series 1 at a WalMart off I 95 while taking the family to Disney World. There I picked up Series 1 Bret and Warrior.

Back in 2007 when i started watching wrestling, i remember my first Classic was Series 12 Dean Malenko, had no idea who he was at the time but i thought he looked cool so i got him and was always one of my favourites. That was until i tried to to make a custom TNA Sting out of him in 2008 some time, the half (terribly) painted Malenko still sits in a box with the rest of my 'customs' and accessories to this day.

My parents got me he whole of Series 1 for my 16th birthday in January 2004. The Shawn and Bret were two of my favorite figures of all time, and two i’ve Actually held on to.

Series 3 Million Dollar Man and Jake The Snake. I picked them both up at TRU on the afternoon of Halloween 2004. I was just getting back into collecting, and little did I know that 13 years would pass and I'd still be keeping up with new WWE figures. Same two for me, same time period, still collecting, but mine were from KB Toys.
