Two ideas:
1) Have a 15-man Cruiserweight Royal Rumble to crown the new champion
2) Have Braun Stroman invade 205 Live and destroy the entire division, throwing everybody and the championship in the garbage like what he did to Kalisto

Here’s our answer:
From a kayfabe standpoint Kurt should be making the announcement seeing as the Cruiserweights are a part of RAW.

Ideally the title and division would be scrapped. To many of the main eventers today like Styles,Rollns,Balor...ect all wrestle the cruiserweight title now days in the main event scene, and guys have been doing this for years ever since Jericho,Eddie,Rey...ect got bumped up to the main event scene. The reasons why the cruiserweights and division work 20 or so years ago was because of the newer styles that was brought into the the American wrestling scene from Mexico and Japan and smaller guys like Rey,Eddie,Jericho,Malenko,Dragon,Kidman....ect where smaller guys that couldn't get their breaks into the main event scene with lager then life characters and guys size wise in Hogan,Savage,Hall,Nash,Sid,Goldberg,Luger...ect taking up those spots.
With all of that said if the WWE is dead set on keeping the cruiserweights around and 205 as a show the whole divison needs a total over hall.As someone pointed out earlier I like the idea of bring in the smaller UK talent to the division since it looks like the UK only show will never happen and the fact that NXT is so stacked with talent right now.So you bring in Bate,Dunne,Andrews,Spud...ect call up a few NXT talents and then bring in a big name or two to the division and then let these guys cut lose in the ring.
I would have the new division something like this.
Cedric Alexander Drew Gulak Finn Balor Hedio Itami Kalisto Lio Rush Mark Andrews Pete Dunne Rockstar Spud Roderick Strong Tyler Bate
and then lastly big name tied to the old WCW Cruiserweight era like Rey Mysterio,Hurricane or Chavo Guerrero.

They should just fold the cruiserweight division into NXT. I've been wanting them to do that before this Enzo mess. That crowd will be way more into those matches than the main roster audience ever would be. Make the weekly show two hours or even 90 minutes and everyone is good to go.

I'm glad this Enzo BS blew up in their faces. Way to disrespect not only the audience but every member of that roster.

It's really a shame that WWE fired Austin Aries and forced Neville out of the company in favor of that d-bag Enzo. But Enzo sold some t-shirts and those stupid wig headband things, and Vince has shown time and time again that he doesn't care about the fans or good wrestling.
WWE deserves this.

The obvious answer: Pretty sure KO killed him with that Powerbomb last year. We won’t be seeing him anytime soon. They should give the belt to Neville to try to get him to come back. Let him have a decent face run to make up for his abysmal 2015-2016 run.

That’s all it really boils down to, who has the most marketable gimmick. WWE is gonna go for the marketable guy over the good wrestler every single time. It goes all the way back to the 80’s. Hogan was picked over guys like Savage, M$M, Steamboat, Mr. Perfect, and so on just because he had a more marketable image and sold more t-shirts and tickets.

Best thing that could happen is if they unify the CW & UK titles and make an NXT midcard title.
Or they could revive the division by filling it with wrestlers that use high flying moves because that's the main reason why i'd want to see the cruiserweights; athletecism.

It's obvious. Give the CW title to Roman Reigns. And the UK Title. And every other belt in the company. Including the Women's belts.
It IS his yard after all!

The reason guys like Reigns, Cena, Austin, Rock, HBK, Bret, Hogan, Andre, and Bruno were on top in their respective eras is because they sell tickets and t-shirts. WWE would have gone out of business a long time ago if they didn’t think like a buisness. M$M/Steamboat wasn’t going to sell as many tickets as Andre/Hogan. That’s why WWE is still alive today and still as valuable as ever.
