Horrible Smackdown, go figure.
Actually, I wouldnt say that. I was there (which I know makes a big difference) but I had a blast.
Heres some side notes:
When Teddy and his groomsman were coming down to the ring, a ring bearer (a young possibly 4 or 5 years old) could be seen, but ran back to back. Nothing happend for like 5 minutes (possibly longer) and then the mother, I assume, of the child come out holding the kid. They get to the ring and she tries to encourage the little boy up, be he wont budge. Poor kid was scared out of his mind. Teddy, comes over picks the kid up in his arms, and has the kid hand the ring pillow thingy to Ron Simmons.
During the wedding, when Crystal is walking down to the ring, she fell like twice, once pretty bad, and it looked like she was hurt. Teddy rushed over to help her into the ring. This could be a part of the show, but its possible this will be edited out.
The rap group Jagged Edge preforms that "Meet me at the alter" song, and you can kindof hear them, but the PA doesnt pick them up. Finnaly towards the end of the song, it kicks in and the fans cheered for it working. During this time, JBL and Cole are visibly laughing, and covering their faces like they dont want to be seen. I noticed JBL write something down and show it to Cole, who completely lost it.
The Hornswoggle/Vince stuff was awesome.
When they are carrying Teddy off, a "We want wrestling" chant starts, and its pretty loud. As they dismantle the wedding stuff, Coach comes out and addresses the crowd, and tells them that if they want wrestling, then thats exactly what we'll get. It was a break in character for Coach, but cool at the same time.
After the Godfather leaves, and all the wrestlers chase after the girls, the only two males out there were Pat Patterson and Gerald Briscoe. Briscoe wants to leave, but Patterson keeps making him sit down. I thought it was kind of funny.
My personal highlights:
After the ECW Fatal Four way, when Tommy and Stevie are walking back, I stand up (I was on the hard camera side and there were a lot of empty seats) and scream out at Tommy, he looked up and I did the whole bow/Im not worthy thing, he laughed, and gave a pat on his chest and pointed at me.
BUT the best was when all the wrestlers are coming out for the wedding, and we see Arn Anderson walking in with Ricky Steamboat. Me and my buddy stand up, and give the Four Horsemen sign, screaming his name, he looks up, and just gave us this "nod". Thats all it was but it was enough for me and my friend to mark out like little girls.
No pics, my camera is busted. But it was a fun show.
