Ha, that's great. And a really good idea and improvement on the jumpers to have the arm activate the action instead of the press down tab on the back when you can barely balance the figure. Not exactly. That is the the action that came with the Rockers Marty Jannetty Hasbro figure. However, the action broke easy on his figure. Yeah, I was thinking of that when I responded but couldn't remember if you just pushed down on his torso-now that you mention it I have to check if my Jannetty still holds up with the action. I barely used him in favor of his second figure.....which ironically used the second Shawn Michaels body lol. |

Found this image of the Sami Zayn retro figure on twitter and google, is this real or did someone make a custom? If this is real, is it me or do his legs look ridiculously short?  Can’t be real, his legs are poseable, unless Mattel already mongrelised the line Scrap that. Just remembered the fat Hasbros, Earthquake, Typhoon and Bam Bam Bigelow all had poseable legs too |

I wish they would match the torso and leg flesh colour on the Flair figure. They had exactly the same issue with the Steve Austin figure. That said I am happy to see a new action with Zayn, I believe Nakamura and HBK will have the same. At least there's a precedent, since some of the Hasbros like DiBiase #3 had noticeably different colored legs. |

So I tweeted the source of these images and got this confirmation:
"Removable title display
Championship title not included"
So there we have it. I feel like not including at least one belt was a big misstep by Mattel.

I think Mattel did that for their Basics/Elites. But I'd like to have a title belt with the ring though. |

Mattel Retro ring is available for per-order on Amazon for $20.99 release is June 1st. I seen that too. I don’t believe that price. I bet it’s at least $30.00’maybe $40.00. Believe it. |

I don't see a need to get the ring personally anyways. I've got 6 Hasbro rings, unless this came with an exclusive figure I wanted or maybe even belts, I don't see the point. For those that don't have a ring though, this is great.

I can't decide if I am getting the ring. I think it looks cool, but I know I would not take it out of the box lol. So far I have kept the retro figures I have in box. However if this line is a long term thig I'll run out of space so having a ring to put them in would be cool.
Also as much as I dig the throwback design of the ring. I feel for the first one a 1998 style ring would have been better. Series 2 would look awesome in a ring like that.

Flair is a step in the right direction, but I'm really hoping this line starts putting out names from the Hasbro era that didn't get figures, like Diesel, Tugboat, Mabel, etc. Diesel is the #1 want of mine, Really hope we can get him in the next set of prototypes we get a glympse at. |

Fursure buy for me i remember playin with the Hasbro ring with my 2 older bros when I was a lil kid. We also had the yellow king of the ring one I hope mattel does something like that

Now that would make it a must-own even for those with Hasbro rings already. If they do a cage.
Also, over on the other brands board there's a thread about custom title belts of the IC and Tag done in the same style as the World belt that came with the Hasbro rings.
