That's the IZOD, which closed down a few years back. The Prudential Center is in Newark. It's about the same distance from MetLife as the Barclays, but in the opposite direction. Backlash will be there this year in May. Oh ok. Didn’t Izod change names a few times before closing too? Prudential might be better to go to for events. To get from MetLife to Barclays would probably be a pain. I started to take the train for Summerslam because the first year it took like 2 hours just to drive a couple blocks near the arena. NJ tends to be better than NY with arenas and event areas. They have the space considering not much else is going on in NJ. Lol The NJ expo center isn’t bad either but it’s probably too small for Axxess. Yep, I think it was the Continental Airlines Arena at its height. I only went there once (Summerslam 2007), but that's what it was called then. I think I'll likely stay in Jersey regardless, just a matter of how far I'm willing to go outside of the East Rutherford area. Even if I stayed in Newark and the shows did wind up being at the Barclays, the extra money in transportation would still likely amount to less than the premium for staying closer to, or inside the city.

Really excited about this, if true. I’ll wait until an official announcement to really get excited. But since they didn’t announce it this weekend amongst all the events in Philly, I’d say it’s all but confirmed.
I’ve been a fan my whole life and have not been to a Mania. I’ve been to a few Raws, Smackdowns, house shows at MSG. My first event was Summerslam 97. I went to Summerslam at Barclays in 2016. So this is bucket list material.
Didn’t get to 20. Or 29, missed out on tickets. I went to Raw the next night though. That was pretty much the birth of the whole “hijak the show” thing. I remember the crowd being wild in Miami the year before with the Yes chant. But my crowd in Jersey started the obnoxiousness of trying to take over the show.
I imagine they will try and run everything else from Barclays so it doesn’t have too much of a Jersey stink to it, and it’s held primarily in NY. Gotta believe Summerslam will be held somewhere else next year though.

When will Seattle get another Mania? Mania 19 was one of the greatest. This time they should have it at Century Link.

I was very close to start last-minute purchasing my trip to New Orleans this April...all that has changed now that NY|NJ has WrestleMania next year. Not too hard a decision going from just attending Mania (and maybe NXT) this year to saving up & attending everything for the first time that extended weekend with the added bonus of being able to go home after each event. Looking forward to April 2019!
Ideal WM35 Week Schedule: April 4-7: WrestleMania Axxess - Jacob Javits Convention Center, NY, NY April 5: 2019 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony - Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY April 6: NXT TakeOver The Mecca - Madison Square Garden, NY, NY April 7: WrestleMania 35 - MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ April 8: Raw After WM - Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY April 9: SmackDown After WM - Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY

Likely rules me out. My wife and i are hopeful of being in the US next April, but it will very likely only be on the west coast. Never mind, WM37 is a lock for me... doesn’t matter where it is, as it will be my 40th birthday ( I’m getting old) lol.

Was reading an article earlier saying the Philly mayor was in talks during Rumble weekend to bring Mania here. He was even at the Rumble event itself. Orlando had the Rumble in 2016 then that March they got the WM 33 announcement when everybody thought Minnesota was a lock.(Minny does deserve one though in the future)
I know NY/NJ is looking highly likely but no official announcement was made by WWE yet and we're into February. Who knows maybe the hold up is due to Philly giving a last bidding effort.

I mean going to New York again is one of the things I definitely do not understand. I mean wasn't WWE there for WrestleMania 29? Fast forward 6 years and they get 35, like really? New York should have got WrestleMania 40 and that would have made sense. However I disagree that New York and or Philly would have been ideal for WrestleMania 35 and that is just how I feel about it. Furthermore, it doesn't really matter because New York is a big market. WWE loves their big markets especially where wrestling is concerned and New York is a wrestling mecca. Not to mention New York has the best atmosphere when it comes to crowds and it is a tourism landmark for tourists to visit. Therefore, I don't begrudge any New Yorkers and hats off to you all. However, as for who should have got it? Detroit if anything should have gotten it or even Minnesota for that matter. It is almost like WWE can't go to any other cities and sooner or later it is going to be the same old crap which is just going to drive people batcrap insane anyway so might as well learn to live with it.

If it is in New York again it makes sense for the RAW after WrestleMania 35 to be at MSG...Madison Square Garden like how has no one even considered that?

Fair enough then that being said they can do it at IZOD, Prudential or hell they could always go back to the Barclays Center the night after

I just found out that the Met Life Stadium is just over four hours away from where I live! So now I just need to see if I can nag my wife into going. Cause all my friends are just "casual fans" nowadays.

Cause all my friends are just "casual fans" nowadays. Dude. With no traffic it’s like a 20-30 minute drive from my house. I’m already trying to convince my brother to go with me. He’s like “I’m probably gonna have homework.” I’m like “It’s Wrestlemania!” He’s like “What about how long the show is?” I’m like “It’s longer days when we go to comic cons.” Have we ever considered buying parties on the board. Like if we made a thread to organize like small groups to buy tickets together so at least we sit near people that we kinda know?

The problem with doing that is where do you sit? Some people wanna be close and have a higher budget while SOme don’t mind as long as they are there. Perhaps we can do something at a restaurant or something that weekend for all WF
