Hopefully this wouldn't be considered a religious question, and I don't think it has to be...do you believe in anything that would "transcend" scientific belief? Again, doesn't have to be anything connected to religion (though it could be), but rather faith in "something," even in the idea that "everything will be okay." Even if a scientist or academic of any type could sit down and explain to you step by step that what you believe in is "scientifically impossible," you still believe in this particular thing. Do any of you "believe in the impossible" or the "disproven"? I do.

I don’t believe half the crapthey say about outer space and other planets.
There’s an assumption that everything is how it is on earth, but I feel it’s not that way at all.

The only thing keeping me sane these days is desparately clinging to the belief that somehow, someway people will get what's coming to them. If there is no prospect of justice and righteousness that will be carried out at any point, I see no need to allow the current state of the world to continue unabated.

Funny thing is that they usually do. Think of any bad figure in history and eventually karma got them back. I see this even in my personal life. Bad people just seem to get what they deserve.

People think the earth is flat and deny facts about it and it pisses me off.

Like Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment, I don’t “believe” in conspiracies, but I am entertained by them. Recently, with the “NFL is fixed” videos I’m coming across, I’m finding the conspiracies more entertaining than the WWE right now.

I believe firmly in things like DMT and psychedelics as a means to connect to other dimensions and planes that bypass any sort of religious 'experiences.'
And if you want my thoughts on things like near-death experiences, this surprisingly hit close to home with how I think a few weeks ago.
Couple those two mindsets and that's my broad picture of what I believe, nothing can really go above and beyond science for me.

Today I learned that @heroesandmartyrs trips balls. littleatoms.com/science/psychedelic-drug-could-explain-our-belief-life-after-deathBut it's very interesting to me because it naturally occurs within our bodies. Its neat stuff to learn about. "DMT was later found to be naturally occurring in the human body, found in large quantities in the cerebral spinal fluid. It's thought to be produced in the lungs and in the eye. It's also speculated, but not proven, that it's made in the pineal gland."

Couple those two mindsets and that's my broad picture of what I believe, nothing can really go above and beyond science for me. it (dmt) makes you realize there is an untold narrative to our collective consciousness that connects us all - godlike entities, sacred Buddhist geometry, heiroglyphic symbology...it’s all there.

I think that there is definately life in outer space, 100%, there's just no way that only one planet out of possibly millions has living beings on it. This isn't something that is 'scientifically impossible ' but something that some people don't agree with.
Something that is scientifically impossible though that I think will be invented someday is time-travel.
