I have the feeling it's going to be Edge and Matt from SummerSlam 2005 when they faced each other in an unsanctioned match.

Edge is in the SummerSlam series so it will be based off a SummerSlam attire. I forgot it was the themed wave. So maybe white pants from 2000. Suppose to be in red |

RSC has an album on facebook with photos of Retros and the ring as well, but I don't think there's anything we haven't already seen.

gotta be honest, as a MOC collector I'm not sold on the 'Retro-Fest' packaging. I like to be able to see the whole figure MOC, not just the upper half. I get the appeal, and certain appreciate the work/thought that has gone into it, but just doesn't appeal to me that much.

I really like the packaging, it’s really cool. But the only problem I have with it is you can’t check for QC on the lower half of the body. Much like figures that are facing opposite of the window, it’s very hard to see if you have a messed up figure.

So I love what they are doing with the Retro Series, after all when I was kid 20 years ago I loved the Hasbro series. It isn't so much of a complaint more than of an I wish. I wish they would release figures on the second go around like Kevin Owens or when the second Roman is released that it would be different action for them instead of the same. That was what was really cool about Hasbro. Each time they release a figure of the same wrestler it was a different action.

So there's no doubt Matt will be from SummerSlam 2004 (white pants). And since Matt would probably come with white pants, I doubt they would release two figures with white pants. I think Edge will not be from SummerSlam 2000. Just a guess. |
