OK, so obviously collecting would be much easier if we didn't have at least a Seth, Roman, New Day, Cena, Dean in every Elite release, lol. I understand they are in it to make the money so they are going to release who sells, anyone who runs a business would do that.
But I have a question... When you like multiple elites from the same era how do you choose to display them? For example, I have a current roster Raw and Smackdown shelf. So obviously I want only one current version of each guy on that shelf. Now if its a Mania version of someone, I put that on that shelf. But what if I have multiple of someone else and I like them both and I want to display it.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions they can throw out at me.
Thanks

I just group them together If I have dupes, If I have a basic/elite in the same attire I put the basic away.

I generally try to stick to one figure per gimmick, but there are some guys I have multiples of. I try to put them on opposite ends of the shelf, or as close as possible. My figures are more or less chronological, so for example '97 black and white Sting is further off to the left of the shelf, while red and black Wolfpac Sting is off to the left side. Might be tougher for someone like Ambrose or Reigns who have basically worn identical gear for years now.

I split mine accross my shelves. Try and only have max 2 per shelf of same guy.

Split them up on the shelves. Or just have a solid shelf of one guy or faction.

I usually group all of them together unless they're part of a team or faction.

I have my favorite guys in their own little places. Seth, Finn, Dean, punk, macho, scsa, rock, hank, aj lee, Sasha. Then my favorite other figs are in other places and those that don't make the cut are in bins

I display chronologically, so that solves the problem for me.

I take the iconic version of the time and put it amongst the rest of that time. When I am in another era another version can be added.

I'll display the most up to date look in front, while special attires directly behind. I'll also split NXT era attires from main roster where applicable.
I do keep a shelf for figures that are quite similar to reside.

Generally one figure per person per shelf in my main display. The exceptions being Foley (will have four of him once Dude Love is out), Taker (Deadman and ABA on my attitude era shelf) and Finn (normal and demon attire). I will also make an exception for Angle once I have E59.
There are some people who have figures on more than one shelf due to longevity (Taker again, HBK, HHH) and I also have dedicated shelves for Demon Balor, HBK and Rollins.

I only display 10 figs or so at a time. So for me I will just have 1 of a favorite at a time. I like to change it up every month or so just to keep it fresh. Makes it fun that way without the collection getting stale.
