So it seems the route they are going with Lesnar vs Reigns is to sell Lesnar as somebody who's on his way out, doesn't care about WWE, in the hope that the whole WWE Universe will get behind Reigns to be the one to finally end him. So convenient that despite this being Lesnar's situation for the past 3 years or so, they save it until now for Reigns to exploit it. It wouldn't surprise me if Dana leaking the picture was all part of this agreement.
I guess, despite the real value in the match sailing long ago, Undertaker vs John Cena will still be a moment to capture. I'm not sure why they had him tease the feud already only to then go to Smackdown for one last chance. Everyone will more or less know it's a lock now that he's mentioned it.

Thank god smackdown is tomorrow to wash away all the terribleness that is Monday night raw every week! What shows are you watching?

So are we to assume it was HHH and Steph in the limo? Genuinely thought this was obvious? Steph and HHH are regulars at this point in the year. They lingered on the limo for a bit to make it seem like it was going to be a surprise.

Honestly there are times I think it was a good show. I get all excited to talk to everyone about it. Then I come on here and see the same people complaining about how awful it was. It takes the fun out of it anymore.

My problem with the way they are building Braun is that he has beaten everyone clean but Lesnar. So logic would dictate that he and Lesnar would be next to fight. Nope, they are going to waste his white hot momentum.

Raw was decent. I feel like their problem is they have all this momentum and they bottle it up to make you wait. "SIX WEEKS UNTIL MANIA, LET'S REAAAAAALLY DRAG THIS OUT!"
Seth/Miz/Balor was great. The Tag Title 2 out of 3 falls was a fun match. (Also, wonder where they're going with the tag division from here). Roman's promo was actually good. (They need to let him be loosely scripted all the time and maybe people will stop hating on his mic work.) The Rousey stuff shouldn't have closed the show. But it would have made more sense if they threw in a backstage segment with Kurt all excited to sign Rousey, and have Stephanie and Triple H step in, basically saying "we don't need you for this, Kurt. Take a backseat."
The show felt so long last night, but hopefully they pick up the momentum next week. Doesn't feel like we're on the road to Wrestlemania. Ya know, aside from John Cena complaining about how he doesn't have a clear road there yet. haha

I can't get over the leap Roman took last night. That was legitimately one of the first times he's ever not come off like a video game character.
Even if it's not the case, Reigns has always had an issue with seeming like he doesn't give a crap. There's an air about him that he's above all this and it's just a job he does to make money and nothing more. He turned something on last night and actually seemed like a plausible number one babyface for the first time in his career. Hopefully he can channel that weekly.
Another huge positive: Coach has completely transformed the Raw commentary team. You don't realize how truly awful Booker T was until you get a competent voice in that role. He's making everyone better.
One negative note: BRAUN STROWMAN SHOULD NOT BE FILMING SELFIE VIDEOS. Ugh.

From the YouTube clips of last night's RAW, it all looked awesome. WrestleMania is off to a good start.
- I love how they're handling Rousey, Kurt was comedic gold at Elimination Chamber, HHH/Stephanie are perfect to get their comeuppance in their conspiracy against Rousey, so that match will be wonderful storytelling. - Sasha VS Bayley will be amazing. Both of their NXT Takeover matches were incredible, so a third match on the grandest stage of them all is definitely exciting. Plus, I love how their story is progressing at the moment. Bayley turning her back on Sasha was shocking, and truly makes me wonder if Bayley will actually be the one to turn heel. Can they actually pull Bayley off as a heel? Only time will tell. - Miz VS either Rollins or Balor (or both) for the Intercontinental title will be great. - Bliss will finally get her comeuppance against Asuka after dominating the past year. Perfect storytelling. - As for Cena VS Taker, I think it will probably be solid. - Roman VS Brock at WM31 was a good match, so I welcome part two. Reigns' promo last night was really good, so it's off to a good start. Plus if Strowman gets added, that can only increase the anticipation. The most important thing is that Lesnar loses the title.
There's one thing I really don't get concerning Asuka though. Why are all the rest of the women trying to make out that she can't speak a word of English, when she proves every week that she can? It's just stupid. Heels can still be heels without looking stupid.

So Reigns gives a worked-shoot promo and everyone loves him? This is something that Ambrose called Brock out for in 2016 on the Stone Cold Podcast...and that wasn’t scripted.
Roman delivered it fine enough. But why does this change anything? It’s still the WWE machine trying anything to get the fans behind Roman. It’s the same worked-promo that’s Cena and Orton delivered in their feuds with Brock. Nothing new but the WWE desperate to get Roman over.

What is getting to me is the people who bash the show over trivial things. Like trashing the PPV cause Stephanie didn't get beat up. Or hating that RAW ended with Triple H's music. Last I checked, that's how you build up excitement for WM. Last I checked that what a good heel is supposed to do. They complain we don't have good heels, but then complain when someone actually doesn't something heelish. I don't get it. Or the "Oh Roman cuts one good promo and everyone likes him now?". It's like, god forbid some people like to give credit where credit is due. Or the people who judge an entire 3 hour show based on a five minute segment with Roman. Or the ones that bring him up in EVERY thread. I mean just the other day a thread about AJ Styles was locked over an argument about Roman. Maybe it's just me? Maybe I just need a nap? I am old, ya know. Mid-day naps are essential for my sanity.

Im not a fan of Roman at all, and even though i was going to root for Roman anyways against Brock, Romans promo makes me wanna root for him at Mania. Now after Mania, its a wait and see on who beats Roman. I definitely agree that sometimes seeing the same people complain about the same things sorta takes some of the enjoyment away from the show. This past year and a half, i followed the mentality that complaining about something constantly is not going to change a thing, so its really a waste of time and energy to do. Id rather watch a show with very low expectations so im not too disappointed. I rarely watch the TV shows anyways due to work (RAW), or lack of interest (Smackdown), so its a waste to complain when nothings going to change due to it.
