Question; do we have a Discord channel and if not if I made one would you guys use it?
It's a good place to gather and chat together. Thought it would be a cool place to chill for us.

We've tossed around the idea of other things, but the ultimate decision has always been to keep it localized here. Keeps the info within reach, and allows us to handle disputes our way rather than let them rage out of control when theh happen.

I don't know what Discord is. As such, I could not be depended on to participate at all.
As I've often said whenever any new sort of avenue is broached for the fed - for the purposes of what we do here, we're all the better just keeping everything we do right here. Facebook killed the message board star, but somehow, this works.

I don't know who or what EBR is exactly but HAPPY BIRTHDAY NONETHELESS! It's a running joke for us old guys like Markw. Any time it was someone's birthday, instead of wishing them a happy birthday, we wished EBR a happy birthday. Today's mine, so it was my turn to say happy birthday to him. As for who EBR is, he was owner three times and is, arguably, the greatest RPr to ever be here in WFWF.

Discord is like one giant group text. It's used mostly for people like me, Twitch streamers big enough to have a community and following to keep in contact with "fans" more instantly than Twitter. And you can monitor the content and who gets in and doesn't, unlike Twitter.

That's really cool! I love how much history is here within the WFWF; I've read a few of the much older RPs since joining the WFWF and I gotta say - it's real inspiring seeing how much its grown since then. What did EBR do to make him the greatest RP'er of all-time?

Dude could have been a pro writer and made it big. Everyone who's a legend around here has one thing WFWF related that they're better than anyone else at. Kyzer has his hooks and foreshadowing. Brennan is a character development master. Trace is a marvelous storyteller. Bish's claim to fame is shoot monologues. Mine is bringing in references people otherwise forgot (hence why Bishop calls me the resident Historian of WFWF) and making them advantageous for my matches. Rev's a master of the English lexicon...read an RP of his and you'll learn ten new words and feel smarter as a person. EBR in my, and quite a few people's opinions, is a master of every single one of those aspects. He can take every one of those aspects mentioned above and write a story only his mind could think of, especially when he was being serious and had a true challenge ahead of him. But when you'd read it, you'd be in awe...but E as humble as he is, would say it was good but he probably could have done better when it was already at its best. He's lost matches legitimately at times, so he's not infallible, either IRL stuff rushed him, he underestimated his opponent inadvertently, or the desire to go all out writing wasn't there that show which is something we all share. But when he's on, I'm not sure anyone could beat him. Kyzer, Bren, Trace, Rev, Schneider, and a few older guys could make him break a big sweat...but at his prime...E losing when he goes all out and it's not a staged finish was about as rare as a unicorn shitting rainbows and breathing fire.

Just reading that really inspired me. It's amazing how much passion goes into this little thing that we all do here.

I was the master of the plastic surgery. At the very least, I can probably rival you, just due to the sheer number of characters I've run here paired with my ADD tendencies to switch up pic bases for a while there. Lance Rodriguez was Nomar Garciaparra, and would have been ECIII when I'd tangled with the idea of bringing him back for a spell. Chris Avalon was (f*ck me)...Gerard Way, Johnny Rioux, Mike McColgan, Johnny Knoxville, Rob Zombie, and Bret Hart before I finally settled on post-retirement Edge. Jason Vieira was Justin Credible and Joe Bastianich. David Brennan has been Russel Crowe, Jason Statham, Rob Alston, and Jeff Monson. Daniel Kirkbride was Johnny Yong Bosch and Thomas Dekker. Sh*t, even my side pieces have had some work done. Nat started off as Mary Elizabeth Winstead before my undying crush on Natalie Portman won out (I mean, that name. Y'all knew that, right?)

So this is where boredom and a sudden plethora of time gets me; The Bereft of Destiny. I don't know if I should be ashamed or proud, so I'll leave that up to you guys.

The Soundtrack section was my favorite part! It's the little things, man haha
BTW, Mesh approves of the Junior Senior song
All in all, good job!
