Technically, you predate me here. I came up with the Smash Rodriguez character shortly after the 2003 Grady Little ALCS blunderf*ck. The only reason I'm able to claim tenure over most people here was because of my run as Chalice in the AFRWF alongside the like of Frost, Raider, and Ice Dogg. As for everyone getting along, now that you've made your claim of tenure, it's almost a certainty that Obo will be around in a day or so to refute that claim as I believe he has before, so there's always that. Yeah he always disputes it but he is wrong. I remember when he joined. Even if I wasn't active here, I have always kept up with the place. First because of Alex and then afterwards because of Drakz. On a random note, I still have access to Alex's private proboard that has all of Frost's rps and a bunch of other personas he and EBR had here over the years. These green stars only represent my envy. Frost might have been my first e-friend back on AFR.

People put way too much stock in these green stars. Or you just don't wander out of WFWF much to see how much hatred the green orange, and red stars truly garner on this site. Lord knows we've ruined many a "good time" in the Raw or SmackDown threads. I've even been called the "internet police" on more than one occasion and I think I'm one of the more easy going mods on the site.

So I am moving back to Florida this weekend. Connecticut, and New England in general, hasn't become my favorite place to live so I am going back to Florida where life is better and more entertaining. I won't be available for the next show other than segments.

As this fed's official delegate of New England, given King Richius' traitorous defection to the state of Pennsylvania, I hereby pardon your absence on behalf of decent, self respecting people everywhere, who would rather be caught dead in a marsh than claim Connecticut residency. I also hereby admonish you for lumping that trash-hole state in with the rest of New England. We don't want them. New York can have them. For the rest of you - I'd like to point out that he's picking Florida... Florida...over Connecticut. That's how bad CT really is.

And all of New England sucks. Too much snow, too many Yankee and Patriot fans, too many crazy dirty hippies. I will take the beach and gold diggers any day. Also 2 am liquor stores, no state income tax, lower cost of living, and Publix grocery stores everywhere. Also I thought growing up in Seattle was depressing with all the gloomy weather and clouds but they manage to get less snow than here and more sunshine. So all in all New England is the worst, except Jersey. It pisses me off I have to pay someone to pump my gas in that sh~thole state.

I dig NE just fine, but I came here from California by way of Texas, so that already notches it a few hits up along the way. I'm also a weird sort, in that I'd take the cold over the heat most days. I can always layer up, but one can only remove so many layers. I'm sick of this 80+ crap already. My ideal temp is the type that'll see you comfy in shorts and a t-shirt from sunup to sundown, with an added hoodie for comfort once the temp dips a bit.

I got to used to the South after spending the last 15+ years there until I moved up here last year. I love the heat. I would rather sweat than shiver. And I would rather deal with hurricanes than snowstorms. Florida only really sucks in the summer if you are in the middle of the state around Orlando. Then it is humid as f~ck. I will be in Melbourne by the coast, where they almost always have a good breeze coming from being on the coast. Can't blame you from leaving California. I always liked Texas when I have been but I have never been outside of major cities there so my perception is a little narrow. I would still take either over anywhere in New England.

I'm currently in Florida myself. I like it much better than northern New York.

Words that I have said many many times myself. I can't stand heat and humidity. It drains all the energy right out of me. You can deal with the cold by wearing more layers. As far as snow goes, I've never seen anybody who deals with it better than the Boston folks. Nobody panics after a big snow storm. They just take care of business, getting the roads and sidewalks clear within a day or two. Big difference compared to the time I lived in Philadelphia and they literally shut the city down for a week after a blizzard because they couldn't deal with the snow removal. I always laugh when the local weathermen here in central PA have people ready to panic because a 3"-6" snowstorm is predicted. You'd think it was the end of the world. And why oh why is there ALWAYS a run on snow shovels before every storm? Do people buy a shovel, use it once, and then throw it away. SMH

I met Mick Foley last night.
I'm not the biggest fan of him outside of the OG, brown gear Mankind and Cactus Jack, and I wasn't gonna pay the meet and greet fee, but then they offered a cheaper photo op at intermission after I got to watch him mandible claw one of the local guys, so I said f*ck it, and I'm really glad I did.

Are you referring to those couple of days I had to throw a hoodie on over my t-shirt? Pennsylvania, at least the part I live in, hasn't had anything that qualified as winter for three years. I couldn't tell you the last time I had to break out my scarf, gloves, and ugly winter hat. By "ugly winter hat" I am referring to something my friends in Boston introduced me to. The rule is that the uglier the hat, the warmer your head will be. I have one of those hunter caps that looks like a fur lined baseball cap with ear flaps. Ugly as hell and twice as warm.

We jumped from 20 degrees with snow to the 80s in a matter or a week, maybe three weeks ago? It snowed here the first week of May. It's either stupid cold, or stupid humid. It's been so humid, I'm tempted to cut off my luscious locks. For those who know me well, mainly Ace and Cam, me considering cutting my hair any time that's not around New Year's should be a solid tell that the weather is crap. And I always wear beanies in the winter and caps in the summer. I wouldn't be caught dead outside my apartment without something on my head. Can't say I have any ugly ones, though the Doctor Who one I have was made incorrectly and the logo is a little wobbly.

As someone who had hair down to the middle of his shoulder blades from age 18 to 45 before finally giving in to the bad hair gene and going to the barber for the Jason Statham cut I can tell you... make the sacrifice. It's worth it. It's hella' easier to care for and much more comfortable in hot, humid weather. I wish I had done it sooner.

It's that it grows so fast compared to regular dudes, I buzz it to David Brennan skinhead level on New Year's Eve and donate it then let it grow till the following NYE and its about a foot and a half long. Right now it's at about nine inches, which isn't long enough to donate. But the humidity this early in the summer is killing me.
