I've been looking to buy some of the figures from the Legends series and can't believe how expensive some of them are; I'm having a hard time justifying paying $100 or more for a single figure.
What is the most you've paid or are willing to pay for a single figure?

Most I ever paid for a Mattel figure, probably $50 I'd say...the most I paid for a single figure is $8000. The price I am willing to pay for a single figure really depends on what it is and how much I want it.

For 8K it better be life size fully functional Jessica Biel or something, lol

Well, color me intrigued! And this figure was...? WWF Hasbro Rhythm & Blues Greg Valentine Prototype figure. Crazy. I don’t collect Hasbros but seen some crazy prices on eBay. That Hulk Hogan Mail Away figure going for $500. Question, I’ve always wondered, these prototypes, how do you know for sure they are the official prototype?

Having stories about previous owners & origins of a piece is always important. I have a lot of Prototype pieces in my collection and they all come from either former employees to prominent well-known collectors. It's also good to get second and third opinions, sometimes these graders who authenticate pieces, in my opinion, don't know more than most collectors out there.

I’ve paid over $100 (Aus) for the following figs.
Warrior dm Macho dm Undertaker 1st biker Kane e12 Bret rsc pink jacket Owen Hart custom
There’s probably more as I wanted the older figs, but that’s off top of my head.

Is this the one? Is this you?
