I think The Rock is my favourite from this series. It perfectly captures his "Hollywood" Rock gimmick.

Yep, got to go with The Rock for this one. Much stronger showing here after a lacklustre Series 3.

Hurricane. Hands down. This is yet another bland series and the Hurricane is the only standout. I don’t know if we were all finessed by the new RA bodies back then or what but it seems like these had a lot of hype. But looking back, each series is really dull with one or two standouts.
I think Hurricane could have come with a cape instead of the bar bell. Who else misses “Basic” figures with accessories?

Really liked the Goldberg and Hurricane, but Eddie gets my vote. I remember changing the head with the finishing moves Eddie and it looked awesome

Hurricane wins this round definitely in terms of detail. Guerrero and Benoit were pretty perfect for what they were too. Never understand why Undertaker had blue jeans (or didn’t have his first ring gear RA figure until WMXX Winners) Goldberg was fine minus the wrong boots, and Rock had an AWFUL attempt at the Samoan tattoo despite being the only RA Rock that had his tattoo extended onto his torso.
Also, are we going to skip the RA5 poll because we all know Kane’s going to win that lol

Far better than Wave 3 - It was a toss up between Hurricane and Eddie but I gave it to Eddie since that was the one figure out of the two that I actually have in my collection haha.

I picked the Hurricane with no hesitation, but Chris Beniot came with the best accessory a leaf blower! Loved those odd accessories Jakks gave us.

I googled every RA series just to jog my foggy memory. The lineups are actually fairly weak in my opinion. I remember as a kid, I’d only want one figure from each series (if that) up until RA20. Then it started to have a couple cool ones per series. Btw, are we doing the .5 series as well? Some of the coolest figures were in the RA sub series that popped up late in the line. |

Sentimental favorite is Goldberg because he was the only one I ever owned from Series 4, but I don't think it'd be fair to pick him just for that.
Benoit is too bland and 'Taker is a definite no with the tank top painted on, so those two are out for sure.
The others I keep coming back to, especially Eddie Guerrero. I'm not in awe of it, but I feel very comfortable with picking it over the rest.

Back when I collected what I did was use the RA8 Rock as it had the bull tattoo and part of his Samoan tattoo and I used the cloth shirt from the Toy Fair BCA Rock figure. You could still see the bull tattoo and part of the Samoan tattoo and it hid the fact the chest/shoulder part of the tattoo was missing from the RA8 figure. |
