So, still no preorder on RSC and I just got an email from amazon saying they cancelled my preorder for Flair.
Have they released and MOC pics of this series or is there any further information?
Did S3 not sell enough and they canned the line?
Really hope we hear something soon.

Retro App Wave 2 of 2018 (including Finn Balor, Ric Flair, Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens #2) is still due in April. I haven't heard anything different. Amazon won't have them any sooner, so those early March release dates were tentative at best. They'll get them eventually, as will most stores.
There are no MOC pics yet, but I think we will see them soon (along with Ringside pre-orders).

I just don't get why they cancelled my preorder though if they're really releasing in 3 weeks. They haven't canceled any of my other preorders, but did notify me of a delay of Macho and asking if I wanted to keep the preorder.

Amazon cancels preorders like that all of the time. I wouldn’t stress over it. Pretty sure EE had the release date as April. I wouldn’t expect them any before that.
I’m sure this TRU deal is throwing Mattel into somewhat of a scramble. I can’t imagine that situation doesn’t mess with distribution in one way or another over the remainder of this year.

I have the ring preordered on amazon they haven't canceled it, yet. I'm also shocked Ringside hasn't put up series 4 for preorder yet.

I have all of series 1, just bought Kane, HHH, Sting and Mankind on eBay to finish series 2. Ordered series 3 on ringside after that and am ready for series 4 any day now.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m completely annoyed and frustrated with the Retro line. From distribution goofiness, price gouging, and the constant barrage of “jumpers” I’ve thought about stopping buying them a few times already. I just picked up the last wave fairly easily which has kept me into them. But to say it’s been frustrating is putting it mildly.

I wish they would just have 6 guys in a set. I thought the formula for series one was ideal. 4 new era wrestlers and 2 classics. I thought this was perfect and then have like 5 sets come out a year. 30 figures a year with the ring and maybe start doing some accessories and the price should still be $9.99. We don't need those stands.

The thing is given the amount of new elites we have seen released in January and February I can understand why the retro line has taken a bit of a back seat. How long ago did series 3 hit retail?

A few things to consider here. Series 1 and 2 were Walmart exclusives. Starting with series 3 they were released to all retailers and they added the retro app feature. While series 3 was released quickly and surprisingly on line, I don’t think series 3 have been in stores for very long. While I’m also growing very impatient, we all know how many retros we have been pictured and if they all hit the stores in 2018, that will mean we get a new series every few months.

I LOVED the first 2 series of these - but with Series 3 on, I'm on the fence about whether to continue with them now: the £2 price increase; the reduced number of figures per series; nearly ALL current guys... And then there's the crazy choices like having modern Goldberg(!) and NWO Macho Man instead of the classic versions - and already getting a second Owens figure (and repaints of Sting and Undertaker), when there's so many other guys to release first.

I'm curious to Walmart and Wave 3. None of my 3 local Walmarts even have a shelf tag for the Retro line ? I have only seen them at Target and Game Stop. Glad I ordered my set from here.

I'm curious to Walmart and Wave 3. None of my 3 local Walmarts even have a shelf tag for the Retro line ? I have only seen them at Target and Game Stop. Glad I ordered my set from here. Same here, my Walmart doesn't have pegs for them neither. Wonder if they didn't sell good enough so the chain isn't interested in carrying them anymore? And I do like the idea of 6 per series, but that was part of the problem with S1 clogging shelves. They way over shipped Cena and Warrior so those clogged the pegs big time around here. If they do 6 per series they should have 12 in a carton and have an even case breakdown. I think if they're staying with 8 in a carton the 4 per wave makes more sense. I just hate the choices to go mostly current era, and poor choices for sculpts, not just the jumpers, but I also hate the Warrior and Cena mold and any that look similar to that. For A-the split torso and B-the stupid bow-legged look. Legs and arms are spread out so far they look like they're passing a watermelon or something. Just look odd. And also lack of details that should be molded on instead of just painted over an existing mold or being omitted altogether.

Series 3 first hit my local Gamestop in November but were sold out really fast. They are just now hitting my lcoal Target. I haven't seen them in Walmart or Toys R Us. They have been out for 4 months now so its been a pretty decent wait to get series 4. I hope things pick up soon.

I don't think they're too popular to be honest. I think they look a bit funky to kids, and to collectors of a certain age...the newer guys are of little interest.
I go into my local Smyths and I see nearly the entire range discounted to £5-7. I actually saw Mankind for £3. The last wave is still the gauging £10.99 though - down from the ridiculous £12.99.
I wouldn't pay more than £10.99 for them, so I think I might pick up Flair in the next range and hold out on the others until the price inevitably drops. The newer guys are not a priority at all.
