At a price point that compares closer to $9.99 and not what Ringside is pushing? Series 3 was $12.99 at Gamestop, so likely that will continue. Yes, that will be the standard price going forward. Ringside isn't asking much more than that for the Retro App figures. It beats waiting for them to show up at retail. Considering how close together some of these waves are shipping, is retail even a sure thing anymore?

I usually wait for retail, but for these, I may just bite the bullet and buy them online since there's no guarantee of finding these anywhere. The only stores I ever saw carry wave 3 were TRU, Target, and Gamestop. TRU is done, Target is overloaded with all the wave 3 figures that didn't sell, and Gamestop may or may not actually get them in. Those aren't exactly stellar odds.

WOW, so 4 waves all within 2 months or so? What are the odds they keep coming at this pace? Or will we see another drought of 4-6 months after Wave 7?
Or is this the end possibly? Really hope not, fingers are crossed to start seeing some of the guys from the Hasbro era and not so many new guys.

Smyths have said no more WWE Retros in their stores. Knew it was a bad sign they were dumping existing stock. Bad news for UK collectors!

If Ringside has them in August they won't hit retail until September/October and that will be it for awhile. Most likely another 6 or 7 month wait to get series 8. Its a bummer but I'm kinda OK with it. I buy two of each figure so it gives me time to get everything and I also get protective cases. I definitely drop a lot of money on this line.

I mentioned in another thread I have access to Mattel products through a wholesaler I use. I checked yesterday, there are no listings yet for the latest figures or ring. Only the older waves. I hope the UK isn't been cut off completely. I doubt it, but the entire situation is a little worrisome.

Makes it worrisome for the entire future of the line. It had so much potential at the start. Then poor distribution clogged shelves with Warrior and Cenas at walmarts around the country causing S2 to barely show up and them to not carry anymore of the line as of yet.
Then we had the line take a nose dive, by increasing the price and focusing almost entirely on current roster aswell as over-reuse of molds and short cuts.
TRU is done. And most Targets are sitting on a bunch of S3 that don't seem to move.
I really hope S7 won't be the end.

Wasn't just poor distribution, the line seemingly died after wave 2 because of the choices they made. They made a line dedicated to nostalgia and forgot to actually cater to the built in market of hasbro fans.
Purple Undertaker and kinda a blue WCW Ric Flair... That's all they added to the hasbro line era.

Yeah, pretty much purple Undertaker really was the only Hasbro era guy we got. So many mis-steps with this line. Your going to make a Hasbro like line, and alienate the Hasbro collectors!?
Warrior-with all the attires he's worn, they go with basically the same as the his first Hasbro.
Goldberg-went with modern WWE version and made a really bad looking figure too.
I'm happy with some of the others like all of Wave 2, Flair and Macho. Even then, with all the attires to choose for Macho, they do black and white NWO. And Flair is more of his 80's look and not really the mid 90's WCW or early 90's WWF runs most Hasbro fans would be familiar with.
But, so much more they could have done with actual Hasbro era guys. Instead they turned focus to current roster and jacked up the price.
I think with inflation, the $10 price point is around what Hasbros would probably been at in current day. But, even then, I'd say this line is a notch below in quality. From the lack of detail on the figures to the flimsy packaging.
Just hope there's some hope IF we ever see another slew of prototypes. Really wish Bill could come back to the line, or at least someone that has some idea what Hasbro fans actually want.

NWO Randy Savage, Modern Shawn So many mis steps with this line that I lost interest. The Attitude Era wave was cool but unneccessary. They could have easily been like Surfer Sting and 95 Hunter Hearst Helmsley to fit the time but they didn't seem interested in catering to the built in fanbase... Weird business move. The only one I really care about now is the purple Undertaker. I bought all of wave 2 and Warrior/Undertaker but if I don't pick up Flair or NWO Savage then I'm not really that fussed.
