Kane for me one of the best figures in the RA line for me, but I really liked the Shawn Michaels as well. I remember having this figure and buying the two pack of Shawn Michales and....... I am drawing a blank here, it was either RVD or Jericho. Anyway that two pack came with the chaps. Plus they released that internet exclusive that had the chaps and the vest together. It was Jericho in Series 3- That was one of my favourite Adrenaline sets but the chaps sitch is throwing me. I vividly remember it coming with chaps but none of the pictures of this set that I've found have chaps. Weird haha.  HBK did come with RVD in Adrenaline Series 1 though  I saw the Adrenaline 3 pack with chaps in Forbidden Planet but I chose to get RA5 HBK instead and at the time I was a one of each person in my collection type of collector and I regret not getting AD3 to complete his Survivor Series 2002 look many years later as I was fixing it up to look more accurate. Anyways, here are pics of the only 2 HBK’s with coloured chaps in this mold:   Also, I know I said in the previous thread Kane will easily win but screw it, I chose HBK because it was the only figure I had from the series and it was my favourite figure at the time. |

I went with Kane, even though it's flawed(no beard, unpainted straps on the back), for it's time it was an amazing figure. Still remember finally stumbling upon it in March 2005, picked it up without hesitation along with the Ring Rage Eric Bischoff in the karate suit. You have kind of got my gears turning and I think that some sets of that maybe did come with both the chaps and the vest or at the very least were advertised. Did Argos here in the UK not have a set that had him with both? There was the internet exclusive Shawn Michaels that did have both the chaps and the vest, it had the same head scan as the one in the AD pack not RA5. I definitely remember getting mine from Argos. I went in for an Eddie Guerrero Unlimited figure but they didn't have any. Ended up walking out with this set and an Unlimited Billy Kidman. Ugh, The Unlimited Figures!!!! they looked so cool at the time, I have a Triple H, Hulk Hogan and The Rock and they all have disintegrated in one way or another. The Hulk Hogan one especially is bad, it is like the material is just crumbling away  I have had them in a zip lock bag up in the attack for years, scared to look at them lol. Kidman was the only one I ended up getting haha. The metal skeleton inside of it started poking through the rubber skin so the figure looked pretty effed up. Jakks had some weird concepts between Unlimited, Flex Ems and the Face Flipping line. Not even gonna get into Maximum Sweat from the TTL days haha. These conversations are bringing back so many memories! I remember the internet exclusive Michaels with both the vest and the chaps. I loved those Unlimited figures too. I remember buying Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho from Argos, I still have a Booker T too and a Flex Em Batista. The scans on some of those Unlimited figures and the Flex Ems were incredible. |
