*Shantelle Taylor, wearing a green mask, defeated Jillian Hall.
Smackdown:
*The entire Smackdown roster assembled for a ten bell salute to Mr. McMahon. The live crowd booed the entire proceedings.
*WWE Tag Team champions Deuce & Domino defeated Paul London & Brian Kendrick.
*Announced for later tonight: WWE United States champion MVP vs. Batista and WWE World champion Edge vs. Ric Flair.
*Matt Hardy pinned William Regal.
*Batista defeated WWE United States champion MVP in a non-title match.
Ric Flair defeated WWE World champion Edge, DQ when MVP got involved. Batista hit the ring for the save but was taken down by Edge.
Dark Match:
*WWE Cruiserweight champion Chavo Guerrero defeated Funaki.

They didn't even do anything with anybody they got but Flair. They could have at least had Masters in a match.

god i  in hate smackdown it's the same match every in week, wow what a original match: deuce and domino vs. hooligans in a non title match same in match every week , wow also MVP vs. Batista Zzz, edge vs. Ric flair seen that before i wish the writers would in write something even a slight bit entertaning.....ya the wrestling is good.....but everything else sucks......USE THE IN CRUISERWEIGHTS!!!.....this is just pathetic........the only match i enjoyed on smackdown in a long time was edge vs. Chris Benoit= only reason i watched smackdown............sorry just had to rant |

Lol...Deuce, Domino and Cherry are among the few people I tune in for, but I hardly do because its the same exact thing week in and week out since they made their debut.

Flair as US or world champ would be great. If they do give him one last world title run I'd like to see him retire afterwards and maybe work as the SD GM.
I doubt Naitch will ever completely leave the business.

I give up. The cruiserweights will never get TV time ever again. Never, they really won't. They'll have the monthly non-title match on Smackdown( usually Jimmy Wang Yang over Chavo), and then won't have another for a month.

According to a guy who was there, there was also a Fatal 4 Way #1 Contenders match for the Cruiserweight Title..

I give up. The cruiserweights will never get TV time ever again. Never, they really won't. They'll have the monthly non-title match on Smackdown( usually Jimmy Wang Yang over Chavo), and then won't have another for a month. I was at the Smackdown tapings and in between Batista vs MVP and Edge vs. Flair there was a Fatal 4 way cruiserweight match. The winner of the match was going to face Chavo for the title at Vengeance. It was between Daivari, Jamie Noble, Shannon Moore and Jimmy Wang Yang. The match was actually very good and the crowd was really into it. There were many great moments in the match and Jimmy Wang Yang ended up winning after he pinned Jamie Noble with a moonsault backflip. **IF YOU WANT A FULL REVIEW ON WHAT HAPPENED AT THE SMACKDOWN/ECW TAPINGS CHECK OUT MY THREAD "MY TRIP TO SMACKDOWN/ECW IN PHILLY"** |

They say the draft is meant to change the face of the WWE - If you look at them Results, there's only one new Superstar there, and that's Ric Flair. Every other Match is the same as usual...
