Does anyone have any pics of Hasbro figures on the pegs? UK, USA, or anywhere. Just want to feel that nostalgia, and remember what it was like to walk into a store and see my beloved figures.

Just glorious seeing those pegs full of S1! Really wish there were more photos from back in the day, if only everyone had been walking around with camera phones in the 90's.

Not true, my TRU did have a huge Hasbro section like this. At least around from 90-92 I remember pegs full like that. I don't know if they had as much of the buddies and other things, but it was a big section right in a prominent section near the entrance to the store.
By 93' they had moved the section and reduced it in size to a different aisle. I clearly remember the first time I saw Series 4 and LOD they were still in that spot. By Series 5 the section moved.

Thanks for that video, I hadn't seen that...what's the story with the Austria store?! An old find? I actually need the hats for those Bushwackers, are they still selling them?

The story about the Austrian store is. This is a warehouse and the owner bought in the 90‘s a container with toys from toys r us and he had these since the 90‘s for sale. I was last year there with a friend and he made these photos. It’s a cool nostalgic shop with a lot vintage stuff from the 80‘s and 90‘s.

All those Rockers and Bushwackers! Looks a lot like my TRU and Kiddie City's stock in 91'.

This was a promotional video and didn't exactly reflect reality... No, fortunately, this is absolutely 110% accurate, when series 1 hit, my Toys R Us looked nearly identical to that video! However, this was NOT the permanent WWF section, but a display with rotating themes. There was a section right near the entrance of most TRU stores that always had the hot toy of the moment, whether it was TMNT, WWF, etc., and usually some signage of "(such and such) Headquarters." I own the signage from when they did this again at the height of the Attitude era; it was in the exact same spot and display style. That LOD video gets posted a lot, here is a different one with the Bushwhackers that shows more of the display. And this one with Duggan gets a little closer to the figures. Also, here is a walkthrough of a Woolworth (US) from 1991. You can see a Rick Rude on the pegs from 0:28 to 0:30. Wildly enough, I got my Rick Rude from the exact store in the video.

That was great! You could see the rockers behind the rude and it's cool to see those Ghostbuster figures, I had all them too!

My TRUs, KBs, and Child World were similar to that. 4-6 pegs wide by the the same amount high. Non-toy and general department stores had less than that, though. LJNs were similar prior to all of that, too. It was great, despite half the rack being taken up by the same peg warmers forever.

I also have vivid memories of my Toys R Us and Hills having tons of Hasbro figures always stocked out during the first few sets. My Dad would buy me and my brother 1 every Friday if we were good during the week and went to school. Such great memories.
