I fell asleep before Raw started. After reading the comments on here I have literally no idea what to expect.

This is the worst Michael Cole has been in years. How stupid do you seriously have to be to apologize in advance for a segment that MAINEVENTS Raw?! I mean even if Vince himself told him to do that, why would Vince apologize for something if he gives it green light to air on Raw??? After all he wasn't forced to let that glorious segment main event a Raw!
Maybe Matt has it in his contract that they will do a 'Deletion Hardy Compount' segment before WM, but if Vince thinks it sucks SO BAD that he needs to apologize for it in advance... why even bother airing it last and make it 20 minutes??
God, sometimes I just HATE Vince.
Sorry for the rant but stuff like that just pisses me off.

I just had an epiphany about the future of Bray Wyatt after Ultimate Deletion. A lot of you say that being dumped into the Lake of Reincarnation means the Wyatt character is no more and that "Bray" would appear as a reinvented person. But what if it wasn't? Has Bray not said before that the soul of Sister Abigail resides in him. What if tonight wasn't the end of Bray Wyatt, but the beginning of a physical manifestation of Sister Abigail, aka a new female talent playing the role? I have no ideas of who that could possibly be, but it would give an interesting wrinkle in this feud. Or we could get more of Wyatt in drag that we dodged last October when Bray contracted Da Sickness... She's still with Impact, but if it was Rosemary that emerged from the lake it would have been one of my biggest mark-out moments ever.

I find it hilarious how people are overshadowing a pretty bad taped main event segment with Coleβs apology lol. Even if Cole didnβt apologise prior it wouldnβt of made Ultimate Deletion suck any less π€·π½ββοΈ

Fell asleep last night and just now watching clips on YouTube. That main event was Delightful! Seriously, it wasnβt conventional but it was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stagnant product..

I expected ultimate deletion to be super cringy, but I actually enjoyed that a fair bit.

It was garbage in TNA, it was garbage tonight. This had to be some dumb favor given to Matt because I honestly don't think anyone at WWE would be sold on this being a good idea. Yes, the thing that got the Hardyz resigned to WWE was a favor that WWE promised to Matt to get him to re sign. WWE goes out of their way to get Jeremy Borash, spends a ton of money producing Ultimate Deletion, and puts it in the main event of Raw with 3 weeks till Mania as a favor to Matt Hardy. Jeezus, do you hear yourself?

I loved the whole thing, aside from a few weird moments. I don't think we should have introduced a steel chair right at the beginning.
I was hooked from the lawnmower part where Bray stood up. That was the moment it put it over for me.
I honestly was hoping we got some funky "time travel" stuff when Bray grabbed hold of Vanguard-1.
It was a little strange, obviously, but I'll take stuff like this over a bumbling awkward scripted in-ring promo to end Raw. (I'm looking at you, Kurt Angle)
Excited to see where they go from here. Especially with Bray. Hopefully he doesn't return AS "Sister Abigail".

After watching RAW clips, it was okay.
- Glad to see Nia Jax VS Alexa Bliss confirmed for WrestleMania. Hopefully they give Nia a good title reign. - I'm super confused with what happened between Sasha Banks and Bayley, because the clips they uploaded don't make sense. The first clip had Sasha and Bayley in a promo, and weirdly just cut off mid-promo. Then all of a sudden they're teaming up together? What happened? Even if it's just highlights, you'd expect WWE to at least make it coherent. - Either way, still gutted that Sasha VS Bayley won't happen at WrestleMania. It's WWE's fault for putting together such a stacked card. Those two deserve a big match on the grandest stage of them all. The unfortunate thing is that all of the scheduled matches for WrestleMania are so good, I'd have a hard time deciding which to replace, were it up to me. I think first choice would be the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal (there's enough matches to cover most major talent). Second choice would be John Cena VS the Undertaker. It's a match that would have been great years ago. It's too late now. But although I'd much prefer a singles match between the two, a WrestleMania moment of Sasha or Bayley winning the Women's Battle Royal, and then the other mercilessly beating the other down is a lot better than nothing.

Tons of props to WWE and Matt for making this happen. That was what a WWE budget looks like when you use it to your benefit. You can be as critical about how they've used Matt to this point as you want but I think they really got this right. Bray was the right guy to do it against, as well. SeΓ±or Benjamin is an absolute star. My first reaction was to be annoyed when I thought we were going to just get more of a wrestling match in the Compound environment but I really thought they did everything right as the match went on. The Land of Obsolete Men scene was my absolute favorite. It was like Alice trying to chase the rabbit on, even more, LCD. I really can't wait to see what they do next with Matt and Jeff, and by extension Bray Wyatt, too. WWE needs more of this kind of thing imo. This is the Boiler Room Brawl in 97. This is Triple H marrying Stephanie McMahon. This is Triple H getting it on with Ka... "well, you know!" Raw is so monotonous from week-to-week that it's the stuff out of the norm that really leaves a lasting impression on me. Sometimes it doesn't work like the House of Horrors but I'm sure as hell going to remember that match. So I loved the Ultimate Deletion. Miz dropping Tyler Black and Prince Devitt on TV was awesome, even if he did kind of muck it up. Brock rag dolling Reigns was good. Alexa was great. I can't wait to see who Braun picks as a partner. I thought it was nice what they did with the Revival. The build has largely been good so far for Mania in most cases, especially given how many matches are actually going to happen. Still surprised at Cole apologizing.. who does that This was obnoxiously inappropriate. The key to that segment is suspension of disbelief. Cole immediately told you not to believe it. So him, or Vince for making him say it. Luckily, I thought it was great despite that dipsh*t comment. Just even more proof that WWE has never understood why this whole thing works, and, by extension, why they have no idea how to connect with their own audience in 2018.

You literally cannot underestimate the importance of Michael Cole apologising prior to the Ultimate Deletion Match. I'm absolutely dumbfounded by it. By him saying that, purposely and instantly makes the watching audience at home feel like they shouldn't be enjoying it, it's telling them that it's embarrassing, and it's patronising towards everything Matt has worked to. It almost plants a seed in the back of the viewers mind that it's just stupid, and not enjoyable.
Anyways, in regards to the match itself, it wasn't anywhere near as creative as the previous versions have been. This was a perfect chance to throw in some comical WWE nostalgia, have Husky Harris appear from the Lake for a minute or two, have Lita do a cheesy segment etc. Nothing they did hadn't already been done in the TNA versions, and the budget and creativity in those previous ones were ramped up to a whole different scale. This was essentially just a hardcore match in the dark at his house, with one or two short comical moments. I'm not sure what's next for Bray, I'm hoping he's Broken, but hopefully this means it's not the end for Woken Matt, especially now that the Broken Universe has finally been introduced.

I did not get why people were crazy over the Final Deletion. Then I rewatched it and enjoyed it. I did the same here. They did a lot with what they had, and it was beautiful.

Ugh. That whole sequence with the blocked punch/wrist grab/suplex moved entirely too slow, although that might have been the best Dana Brooke promo ever....not saying much.

Jeezus, do you hear yourself? What does Borash have to do with any of this?? Hardys got resigned because they gained a lot of wrestling media attention... for something that most people will still find dumb. But it's business. If you haven't noticed, WWE is aggressively raiding all of it's competition. And saying that a ton of money was spent producing Ultimate Deletion... well... no. That had to be one of the cheapest things to produce ever.
