I know most of you would be against this, but I think it'd be great.
Have Eugene come out on iMPACT in his typical Eugene costume. Have him act "special" while he's coming to the ring, and carry on the whole gimmick. He grabs a mic and says...
In special voice: Hi guys...my name's Eugene...you like Eugene... Normal voice: ...well I don't.
Then have him tear his Eugene attire up.
I was in the WWE for almost five years. Why? Because I love wrestling. I wanted to go there, and showcase my talents in the biggest stage possible. But then they stick me with some stupid gimmick. I had to pretend to be Eric Bischoff' "special" nephew. Sure, I made a lot of money with it. Sure, I was over with the fans. But that's not who I really am.
Then have him drag it on for another minute or two and announce he now goes by his birth name "Nick Dinsmore".

Honestly, I love your idea. If he did that I would mark out.

I could also see WWE legal having a field day with that one as well.

TNA should focus on TNA and not bashing WWE.

^ Yep. It would be pretty fun though. But then, the following week, he'd be jobbing to Billy Gunn.

Right now, it's best to keep him intellectually- disabled and teamed with EY and Shark Boy

TNA should focus on TNA and not bashing WWE. I agree. this is one of the reasons WCW's ratings went downwards, and TNA would just end up going the same way too

that would be dumb. horrible wrestler he is. You also think WWE ripped off TNA with MVP holding two titles, so take a guess what that says about you. I always thought thats how he should have turned heel in WWE. Well still kayfabe it, where he said he thought to get famous he'd get people on his side.

that would be dumb. horrible wrestler he is. You obviously have never seen him wrestle. Eugene sucks. Nick Dinsmore does not.

I don't like the idea of expressing how things in wrestling are fake. And I don't want to see Eugene in TNA. I never found him interesting in the ring aside from his first handful of matches, and I don't think anyone will ever take him seriously again.

that would be cool to see, but like it's been said, wwe legal would be petty enough to file lawsuits against them

Nick Dinsmore is far too talented to be stuck with the intellectually- disabled person gimmick forever. I'm glad he failed the wellness program three times.

Your idea is alright, but I think the days where TNA contracts come with the right to shoot on one's former employer should be over. Shoot promos toward WWE make TNA look bush league, the wrestler himself look unprofessional, and really only helps to advertise the WWE product.
I would, however, love to see Nick Dinsmore come to TNA under the 'Mr. Wrestling' gimmick. Have him work his way up through the card, eventually facing off against Kurt Angle in what I'd predict to be an amazing technical match.
