Moderators, IF this thread is still in violation of the rules please feel free to delete.
But the company that cannot be named has recently tweeted... "At the end of this month, our merchandising license with #ROH expires." - 1:31 PM - 20 Mar 2018 This helps to explain the fire sales they had on Amazon recently.
My main question here is, what is next for RoH merchandise? At the very least these figures have shown that there is some sort of market for them. Makes me wonder if maybe Funko could be interested in making figures? They are getting in on the act with the release of the Bullet Club Pops later this summer.

Been debating making a thread like this but like you said didn't want to go against any rules. I think it's time for ROH to go with a more established brand that has solid distribution (and one that can make better figures) -- ROH is the hottest its ever been thanks to Cody, the NJPW guys, the indie buzz, etc., etc. It's time for some quality action figures!

What style/creator are most of yall wishing for? Honestly, Toybiz for truer figs and maybe some Jakks for monsterous figs like the old Maximum Sweat gimmicks.

It's time for some quality kids sized and action figure sized Championship Title Belts!! Why did you have to say that?!!! Now I want to ask what you didn't like about the belt pack that was released. Which then trips the rules of not talking about them. The problem with getting RoH figures, though, is that they are still nowhere near big enough for a real toy mass producer (like Mattel or Hasbro) to want anything to do with them. So it will have to be someone like Funko or Jazzwares, a company that is more collector oriented, to step up. A Weird want I have had lately is for NJ Croce to get a wrestling license. We could have bendable wrestlers again!!

^Nope. It basically died when Hasbro got the Marvel license. Which is funny because Toy Biz at the time was owned by Marvel. They in a way put themselves out of business. Looking back, I could see them getting the TNA license just to keep the company going.

"That company" should stop making figs all together, good for ROH.

I'm not sure who would take on the ROH line. Jakks would be a viable choice. I don't see any of the big companies like Hasbro doing it. Also funko is making some bullet club pops and I know funko does Figures now as well. I wonder if they could work out something with ROH?

"That company" should stop making figs all together, good for ROH. No no no.. Its not just "that company"... Its "The Company that cannot be named" and "the lines that cannot be discussed". I think Figure Arts would be good choice for em. So you want to keep them at about the same level of distribution and availability as they currently are. But jack the price up by 2-3x. K.

With a bit more articulation yeah.

So....consider me uninformed. What is the reason we can't discuss....those figures? Because Ringside Collectibles dosen't sell them?

Toys are for kids, and kids are not a big part of ROH’s audience. Look at the crowds on TV. If you ever go to a house show, count the kids in the crowd. You’ll probably only need one hand. There’s also no reason for kids size replica belts. All ROH merchandise should be targeted at adult collectors, like the now discontinued figs were.

I was fine with the previous figures, I’d love to see new ones by anyone though, always interested to see a new take on wrestling figures. I think they’d need to really try to pump out the main guys as fast as possible then try to come up with variants or hope new people keep coming to really make it work.
I’d love to see whatever made them available on Amazon and RSC, if stores are a stretch.

"Ring of Honor: THE VIDEO GAME." - Ballpark Bob I don't think RoH is big enough to sell a video game yet. But if they paired it with NJPW, perhaps a RoH vs NJPW game, I think that would be enough to tip it over the edge, make it doable.

At the moment Spike Chunsoft has the NJPW license for Fire Pro Wrestling World (PC and by Summer for PS4).

So....consider me uninformed. What is the reason we can't discuss....those figures? Because Ringside Collectibles dosen't sell them? Yep. But they were crappy figures at high prices. $30 for a sloppy figure with loose limbs and flack using old Jakks bodies? Lame. I love wrestling figures so I want as many as I can get. They don't need to all be WWE figs, but low quality expensive figures are not the way to go. I don't think ROH is big enough that they could sell figures at retail. And with TRU dying, it makes things even worse. But maybe the Sinclair Broadcast Group could force everyone who works for them to buy the figures!
