Raw was OK. I thought the crowd was a let down this year. Say what you want about them being obnoxious and what not but this is always my favorite crowd. I feel like wwe did a lot tonight to try and get themselves over and kind of forced some stuff. Lashley returning was super cool but Elias didn’t have to be the target. Didn’t really serve a purpose. Same with Jeff Hardy. Jen just randomly came in to save Seth and Finn. It’s cool but just didn’t feel right.all the new call ups were pretty cool. The part that sucked to me is Jeff just returned right back to his main event status. Because clearly that worked so damn well last time he was thrown into main events.

nobody but a mark would care about a "talented worker" over someone with name value. If said talented worker was as talented as people think, his name would be valuable would it not? Then they wouldnt need to bring in part timers. When the little spot monkeys can hold their own value on the card, maybe they can main event a RAW or Network Special or something like that. Anyone can take the cop out and blame it on booking though. Fact of the matter is though that every former main event player says the same thing, if you've got the main event package you'll be in the main event. Nobody holds you back but yourself. Either you have it or you don't. Unless you’re in the business, you’re a a mark just like everybody else here. And not for nothing, Vince and c.o push whoever is their flavor of the month, doesn’t matter if you’re talented or not. Few get that top spot and bias has alot to do with it in WWE, that was never a secret. Far too much of the time tho a promising young star gets their push cut out from under them because the office loses faith too soon. it's all on you in the end, either you connect with the crowd or you don't. If goldust can get over as whatever the hell he is then someone else can get over doing something much less wonky. Every great performer has had a bad promo or run. Yet they're still amongst the greats. It's sad to realize your favorite just doesn't have what it takes. Very few people get over on in ring ability alone and even then the ones who adapt and are able to show charisma are the ones skyrocketed to superstardom. If there's no Charisma idc how good your look, gimmick or idea is, idc how great your matches are or how good you are at wrestling. You gotta have it all in the business. Can't keep blaming creative and others for your own shortcomings. Look at how many times Fandango has gotten over with the most ridiculous gimmicks lol

I marked for Ember but I'd rather she pin Mickie than Alexa, Mickie could afford to eat the pin.

I really hope Smackdown gets some guys from RAW, like wtf the RAW roster is absolutely stacked. Especially the women, kind of confusing, I thought Ember would have went to SDL considering they have nobody to face Charlotte.....well Becky but it seems like she will never get a chance.

My thoughts exactly. Another overrated guy coming in with name value to take a spot of a more talented worker. Meh. Big meh. nobody but a mark would care about a "talented worker" over someone with name value. If said talented worker was as talented as people think, his name would be valuable would it not? Then they wouldnt need to bring in part timers. When the little spot monkeys can hold their own value on the card, maybe they can main event a RAW or Network Special or something like that. Fact of the matter is though that every former main event player says the same thing, if you've got the main event package you'll be in the main event. Nobody holds you back but yourself. Either you have it or you don't. Maybe that point would hold more weight if the main event of Wrestlemania had not been crapped on almost every year for the past half decade.

I'm really glad to see Ember Moon called up to RAW. Before RAW, I was really hoping Ember and McIntyre would get called up, and I'm glad to see that Ember was. Hoping for McIntyre to get called up on SmackDown Live. Can't wait to see where Ember goes. Happy to see Authors of Pain called up. Never watched them, but they always sounded cool. Given how irrelevant the RAW tag team division has been for months, hopefully this is the first step to get it back on track.
Happy to see Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe back. Loved the backstage interaction between Matt, Jeff & Bray. Happy to see Lashley back. I hardly watched anything of his initial WWE run, but the constant return rumours over the past few months seem to have gotten a lot of fans excited, and somebody with fan support behind them has got to have something.
Stunned that Paige announced that she is leaving WWE. I assumed she'd stay with WWE, managing Absolution for a good long while. On commentary for WrestleMania, she seemed to imply that her in-ring career was not over, stating that she hoped to be part of next year's battle royal. So I assumed that she was taking time off her in-ring career to rest, rather than actually being forced to retire. However with the sad official announcement that she has actually been forced to retire, that just makes me very sad. However as she mentioned, Daniel Bryan was able to make a comeback after being forced to retire, so there is hope for her future! Regardless, I hope she finds success outside of WWE.

I really enjoyed this Raw.
Really sad to hear about Paige. She's had a rough last couple years, and it sucks seeing her go. She was one of the best female performers in the company and will be missed.
Glad to see Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe back. Wondering where they're all gonna fall after the Shake Up.
SO happy they officially announced the Shake Up. It makes things a little more unpredictable.
The AOP coming up was cool to see, but I'm gonna miss Ellering with them. Hopefully he stays in NXT and manages another up-coming team. And hopefully the AOP don't flounder on the Main Roster.
Lashley coming back was cool to see. I wish he was revealed as Strowman's partner. I wonder where this leaves Strowman too. I guess it's gonna be Bray and Matt vs. The Bar. Sucks for Revival, but I'm not entirely sold on Matt and Bray together. I wish Wyatt changed up his look a little. Even if it was just to get rid of those dreads. Eh, whatever.
Happy for Ember Moon, but she probably should have stayed in NXT for a little while longer.
Excited to see what happens on Smackdown tonight.

Apparently she'll be returning for the next Total Divas season, and once the movie about her life is released, she's likely going to be popping back on TV to help promote it. And while it could be great to see her make a Daniel Bryan type return, I doubt it, as the neck is usually a career killer type of injury. Even if you manage to make some kind of return, you don't usually have much of a long career ahead of you (see Austin for example.)

Her profile has been moved to the Alumni page on WWE.com, and there were plenty of signs that she is now gone from WWE TV. Sure, she's likely to pop up again in the future, but it definitely looks like she won't be a regular on WWE TV anymore. I should have used more accurate terminology, that's my bad, but I meant that she's gone in terms of making regular or even semi-regular appearances on WWE TV.

Yeah, I was reading, she'll still be under contract.

Was an ok Raw, but fair to say the value of returns or surprise debuts has somewhat diminished on these post-Mania Raw's. It's become the norm to expect a bump or two up from NXT, and Lashley has been more or less known for a while. I'm not sure there has been a really memorable post-Mania Raw moment since Lesnar went ape sh*t the night after Wrestlemania 31.
I did however think they dropped the ball on the Tag Titles angle with Strowman & Nicholas though, especially to relinquish them the way they did and not even bring Nicholas out to the Crowd. I was convinced that having Braun come out to find a new partner from the Crowd every week would have been the way to go, and I'm sure that would have gotten him over even more as a babyface.
