So, the new face printing technology that Mattel has been using... what do you think of it? Do you like it? Or do you hate it, and want Mattel to stop doing it? Personally, I think it looks good on some figures, but for others (like E54 Jimmy Uso for example), I think it looks terrible. What do you think?

I think they do a good job either way. some scans are hit or miss, but for the most part ive enjoyed the likeness. if I didn't I wouldn't be collecting. I'm just glad we got consistent head sizes for the most part now.

I like Orton and Roode. Mickie and Usos not so much. The new Rollins and Edge look pretty good as well.

Not a fan of what I've seen so far. Bobby Roode looks like trash imo. They have a texture to them that doesn't fit the rest of the plastic. Like an action figure wearing a cgi mask. So that's weird.

I like it, but I do think there is room for improvement. I have Mickie, Orton, Jimmy, Jey and soon Roode. And so far I'm pleased overall.

I like it overall. In some photos it comes off weird looking but I have Orton and in person the face looks awesome, way better than his sculpt looked previously imO

Orton, Roode and one of the Usos are horrible imo. I don’t know if they used it on the other uso but he looks phenomenal

It's been hit or miss.
One of the Uso's looks great, the other looks like he's got some sort of disease.
Randy Orton's FACE looks decent, but they half assed it and used crappy paint on his beard and hair, so it looks like he's wearing a helmet made of dog sh*t.
Bobby Roode ended up looking like a drag queen with a face full of makeup....
So I'm not sure yet.....so far it's had very mixed results.
If I was Mattel, I would just use this to add realistic shading to hair and beards, and maybe use it to try and replicate make up on the women....but I would stay away from other parts of the face. Look at what happened to Bobby Roode when they used it on his eyes and lips....DISASTER.

So far a DUD for me. Needs work. Some looked fine but were ruined by paint apps others not good.

Like it, but there is room for improvement. The Marvel Legends movie figures are still LEAGUES ahead of WWE Mattel.

The WWE line hasn't used it as well as Hasbro on their Star Wars & Marvel Legends lines.
When it's done right it's amazing. When it's done wrong it's Jimmy Uso.

Not sure. I haven’t bought enough recently to notice the difference

As time goes on the technology with be cheaper and the quality will be better. As of now, it's hit or miss.

I love the technology, but I hate Mattel's current implementation. Some of their face printing attempts have been awful. Either use it effectively and consistently like Hasbro does with Marvel Legends, or don't use it at all.

Waiting on Mattel to nail it with WWE, so far as others have said it's been less than impressive. It has, however, worked wonders in other toys lines (like the Star Wars' Black Series), so waiting to see if that will happen here too.

It doesn't seem like they even need to do some fancy new face printing thing. Mattel needs someone there that just notices when the eyebrows are totally off. Some great scans are produced and are ruined by something like eyebrow placement.

Has potential but the results have been mixed so far.
I think the areas that need most work are around the eyes, (some look like they have eye makeup on) the facial hair looks unnatural and the face print tech makes the faces really look really shiny for some reason.

Looks terrible. I hope it never makes its way into the Legends/Flashback lines.

I've only seen the Wrestlemania Orton and wasn't overly impressed, but I know this technology has made a HUGE difference in the 6" Star Wars Black Series line.
Such an improvement...
