I'm only judging based on the pictures I've seen online, but it looks like there are pros and cons. The facial hair, for example, is miles better than before. It used to be just one solid line of paint with no definition for anyone with a beard/goatee and now it actually looks like real hair. The eyes, though, are ruining the faces. I've yet to see one figure where it doesn't look like they're wearing eyeliner. I think Mattel has to work on it a lot more.

I think this technology could have saved the DM WM3 Savage. There's a great sculpt there hiding under a godawful paint job.

At least its a relevant 6 month old thread to bump I love it when it works, and hate Ambrose and Bliss. Just like i loved it before, most were already good scans and some were crap, so hasnt really changed, good are a little better, crap are a little worse

It all depends if it looks good or not, if it looks good then i like it, if it looks bad, i don't like the figure, and they have been getting way better since that Jimmy Uso scan

Looks okay on some figures, not so good on others.

This is a question for people who play with their figures and bash them around...
Does the face easily chip off? The likenesses are good...they just seem quite fragile like I wouldn't want to touch it fearing it might smear or something.

I think Elite 63 proved how great it can be.

I personally hated the first few they did, they’ve gotten better but I just think they no longer match the rest of the figure. Looks almost life like on a bland body.

Hated it at first too because they looked awful. Now it’s improving to where it’s a little better then 50/50. Still hit & miss.

I think it’s definitely improved the basic line. Just look at the upcoming Wrestlemania sets.

The WWE line hasn't used it as well as Hasbro on their Star Wars & Marvel Legends lines. When it's done right it's amazing. When it's done wrong it's Jimmy Uso. Also I think the tech doesn’t apply as well to the style of Mattel.

I haven't noticed it on any of the ones I have purchased. I only buy legends though. I will say that based on pictures here, I don't see it as that great. People are going crazy over the Seth Rollins figures and again I'm only going based on pictures I see here, so the figure compared to the picture of him on the box, and I just don't see how it's great. They all look wet to me for some reason. And I'm sure that as I type this all the Rollins fans are setting my house on fire.

At first I responded to this poll with "not sure" - but now that they've progressed with using this I like it.

I like it, but I do think there is room for improvement. I have Mickie, Orton, Jimmy, Jey and soon Roode. And so far I'm pleased overall. After getting 7 new figures today, all with the face printing, I'm officially on board. 100%

They seem like they’re better in hand as opposed to some pictures. I saw loose pics of UE and Kyle O’Reilly looked much better in the original prototype. Maybe it was just the pictures.
Seth Rollins and the new Taker look really impressive and I plan on grabbing those 2 for sure.

Got my Undisputed Era set today and they have sold me on this new scan tech. AOP is amazing as well. These look so much like the wrestlers actual faces that it's almost scary
