Where ya think Harper is gonna go? Phillies. Please. Lots of talk about him going to my White Sox. I'm torn about it though. I know there is no cap but paying that much ties up money for other positions |

Lots of talk about him going to my White Sox. I'm torn about it though. I know there is no cap but paying that much ties up money for other positions I was actually really anti-Harper over Machado for the Phillies prior to the offseason, but I think Machado is much more of a lock for the Yankees at this point, and I want the Phillies to come away with some kind of significant addition to the lineup this year. Plus, we have so much money to spend that it wouldn't even really hurt us to shell out that big check to Bryce. Wouldn't shock me if he went to Chicago, honestly. You guys have a really strong young foundation, and just need a couple big pieces to be scary very fast. I just don't want him to end up with NY. |

He is only a .287 hitter. Last couple seasons haven't been that good. Everyone is overpaid now, so that's a guarantee. But there is more to look at than just average. He's still been at the top of the league in slugging, walks, and OPS. Injuries also factor in. He's not Trout, but he's still an above-average player. That said, I'd still rather overpay Machado first - especially if he's willing to move back to third. |

Happy today, and ever since this date in 2016. I met my wife at Monday Night Raw 2 years ago today. It was my first Raw in over 6 years, and we met. Couldn't have made that show any better.

I like to make things around this time of year. I made what I call "Hillbilly Hors d'oeuvres" (pretzels with a Hershey's Kiss or a Rolo in between). They were a hit at work & my co-workers now call them "Christmas Crack".
I just made a new batch with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I hope they like these as well.
