Spent the day with my 3 best friends who I haven't seen in a month in Manchester today. I had such a good time, it's great to be back at uni!

The job interview I had today went good. I'm not sure if I'm going to take the job if offered but I'm happy the interview itself went good. After feeling like I did a poor job on the interview I had in october, I'm just happy because I feel like I have my nerve back and future interviews will go smoothly. I hope you get the job Thanks man! They wound up calling be back today for a second interview but I decided to decline. My gut just kept telling me it wasn't a good fit after I had learned more details about the job. I do think I could of handled the job fine and it is in my field but the actual day to day work is way more tedious than what I do now, so I just feel like if I took it I'd be hating the job after a couple of weeks. |

Nice, fun, easy Saturday night shift. Love my job.
10 years ago, 16 year old me would never have landed a job, much less hold one down for nearly 2 years and be good at it... and enjoy it! Sometimes I like to take a step back and remind myself of just how far I've come in life over the last decade. Specifically the last 2 years, that's when I really grabbed life by the throat and making things happen for myself. The things that seemed impossible and a pipe dream 10 years ago are now a reality and it's the best feeling in the world, knowing that that I made it happen.

My son scored his first 2 points of the season last week in his basketball teams fifth game. Today alone he scored 10 points and was offensively and physically a completely different player and he figured out how to do it all on his own
