I just hope Cap stays alive in the sequel.

It was greatness. I always knew Skull wasn't dead and was out there somewhere......excellent reveal. I wonder where Valkryie, Korg etc were in the opening scene? Thor says half his people were killed by Thanos....hmmm.
Cant wait to see Captain Marvel now...really interested to see where she has been all this time.
Yeah its obvious that the damage will be reversed in the next movie but Vision will still be dead I reckon. Loved his death scene and Thanos hammering Hulk at the start.
loved the Black Order too.
I see a few scenes from the trailer didn't make it either....Hulk in Wakanada for one.

A perfectly executed excersise in universe building that pays off. Everything tied together and flowed nicely. Couldn't tell that it was a 2 hour 40 minute ride. Everything clicked for me. Thanos especially, which considering I was no fan of his newer aethestic, was a big feat. I even want to go ahead and finish the marvel legends BAF of movie Thanos which I previously had no interest in doing. Chalk that up to Josh Brolin's awesome portrayal. And while we can probably assume a good number of casualties from this film will return (a couple are down right obvious) I think the real heartbreak will come next year in part 2. This was a red herring in that aspect. But wow .....what an ending. The theatre just sat there in total shock. Lol. It was great.....and kudos on that bonus scene. ...the ONE post credits scene we get this time. It was funny, sad, and exciting simultaneously. Great way to bring in the build for Captain Marvel.

HOLY F***! I’ve never felt this way after a movie. 10/10.
I have a feeling that Strange giving up the Time Stone was apart of the 1 in 14,900,000 scenarios where they win. I also think Tony’s dream of having a kid could be the result of them time traveling in Avengers 4.
A lot of what they did will be reversed, but maybe not all of it. If they change up the events of Avengers 1, then how does that affect Wanda, Pietro and Vision from AOU. Maybe they never exist/get powers of events change. Maybe they do but Quicksilver survives the events of AOU with the past changes (the actor still has two films left on his Marvel deal).
If events change that could have big changes to basically everyone.

I reckon the ending bit with young Gamora will get to Thanos, making him use the time stone to go back before he sacrificed her and thus restoring all the people who were killed. That makes a lot of sense actually! I dont think so, because when he goes and sits in the chair, he smiles. Like he was happy, and can finally rest. It was an excellent movie. The end when the characters where turning to ash was like "is that person going to go? Is that person? No! Not that person!" I think it will be the 1 in 500 million or whatever number Strange said. Also is Hulk gone? I know Bruce is here, but is Hulk?

He’s basically afraid of Thanos because he’s never been mandandled like that before. He’ll be back in the next one though. That’s a guarantee.

But when the rapture happened, I wonder if it took Hulk away. He'll be back to get his revenge. What I thought would be cool is when Bucky went if his new arm stayed, and Rocket went up and picked it up and said "I told ya I'd get that arm."

Saw it last night and my emotions are still all over the place. It was insanely well done though, it didnt even feel like a two hour plus movie. Very interested in whats to come now, especially after that ending.

Wandaaaa!!!!!
God if Tony survives Avengers 4 I don’t know what kind of therapy is gonna help him with having Peter die in his arms.
Interesting that the only Avengers to survive were the Original crew.

Wandaaaa!!!!! God if Tony survives Avengers 4 I don’t know what kind of therapy is gonna help him with having Peter die in his arms. Interesting that the only Avengers to survive were the Original crew. I still don’t feel that they’ll kill Stark. Past events will likely change to fix what Thanos did, but RDJ is a money making machine. I can see them “retiring” the character from full-time duty after Avengers 4 and becoming the “new” Nick Fury. Basically he’d make cameos every once in a while to “bring the team together.” His dream about having a kid with Pepper could be a prelude of what’s to come. I think if any of the originals is going to bite the dust it’ll be Cap. I already said my reasons for Stark above. Kevin Feige has stated he wants to sign Hemsworth to a new deal as they see Thor with a ton of potential going forward. Hulk is basically unkillable. Cap is the one who seems likely to bite the dust as his journey doesn’t really have anywhere else to go. He made peace with Peggy. He ended Hydra. He got Bucky back. Chris Evans has also stated that he’d like to move to a behind the scenes role as a director, writer, etc... I just don’t see as much potential in future Cap stories as I do for Thor and Stark.

It's been 24 hours since I seen it. I wanted to let it sink in before I gushed like a school girl. It was euphoric, heartbreaking, and rewarding all at the same time. The Russo Brothers made this whole ten year journey 100% worth every second. Hats off to both men. Marvel, keep them around as long as you possibly can. Cause truth be told, I don't know if anyone else could have balanced this as well as they did.
I like that the typical Marvel humor was there, but only in small doses. I love how the action starts within seconds of the film starting and never lets up. The Red Skull cameo was fantastic and very surprising. Thanos. My god Thanos. What can you say that isn't already being said? He was the best villain in any comic book movie... ever. Black Order were scary looking and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed them.
LOVED the team work in this movie. I lost it when Spidey comes out of Strange's portal and yells, "Magic kick".
I had said during Civil War that if people died in every movie it would lose the impact when someone really does die. And this movie proved that. I was devastated watching Loki die. And that emotion never really let up. I watched the first 35 minutes with my arms locked up cause I was nervous for these characters we've grown to love.
Honestly, this is by far and away my favorite comic book movie. I had thought there was no way anything could bump the GOTG & Avengers, and yet here we are. I want to see it again. I want all the merchandise I can afford.
The ONLY MINOR thing, I kinda wish we didn't know there was a Spider Man sequel coming. Kinda wish we didn't know Black Panther made an ass load of money. Kinda wish we didn't know a GOTG3 was a sure thing. Cause as devastated as I was at the end, we know they are coming back somehow someway. I think I'd like not knowing. At least for a lil while.

Yeah my money is on Cap eventually dying. They teased Iron Man's death in this. So I don't see them revisiting that anytime soon. Plus we got Bucky & Falcon waiting for their chance at the mantle.

He said that if it came down to saving Tony or Spidey that he'd sacrifice them both for the stone, but then chooses to save Tony over the stone. Definitely needs Tony alive for the 1 outcome to happen.

I also can’t wait to see how this affects Agents of SHIELD and possibly the Netflix shows.

My one small complaint is that there could have been more in battle deaths. I don't connect enough with vision or Loki for that to bother me. Never liked Loki at all, and by the time it happened, I was begging for him to get his hands on vision. Kinda wanted strange or iron man to die on titan. Just to be like hey, this guy ain't ing around. And I really wanted glaive to off shuri. She comes off as a smart mouthed, know it all kid, that thinks way to highly of herself, yet when she had the chance to save the day, couldn't get it done. Gamora though. That crap hurt.

I know that it’ll likely never happen based on what Kevin Feige has stated, but this would be the perfect chance to introduce some of the Netflix hero’s into the movies. Say Iron Fist and Luke Cage were two of the ones to be turned to ash. Then Daredevil and Jessica Jones could be recruited by Tony (use the same reasoning they used in Civil War with him having kept tabs on all of them) to help the Avengers fix what Thanos did.
