My one small complaint is that there could have been more in battle deaths. I don't connect enough with vision or Loki for that to bother me. Never liked Loki at all, and by the time it happened, I was begging for him to get his hands on vision. Kinda wanted strange or iron man to die on titan. Just to be like hey, this guy ain't ing around. And I really wanted glaive to off shuri. She comes off as a smart mouthed, know it all kid, that thinks way to highly of herself, yet when she had the chance to save the day, couldn't get it done. Gamora though. That crap hurt. Shuri is supposed to be a smart mouthed know-it-all teen. Also she said she could get it done but it would take time for her to fix Vision and that she needs that time to do it. She didn’t count on T’Challa wanting her to open a part of the forcefield which greatly reduced the time she needed and even more so when she got interrupted by one of the order.

Either way,she didn't get it done. Can't be arrogant when you don't succeed. And it's fine if that's how she is supposed to be portrayed, but that doesn't make her likable. I want her dead. I want her to suffer a game of thrones style death. She's just annoying.

How awesome was Ebony Maw in this movie? Creepy as hell! I hope he somehow survived, but it didn’t look good.

Amazing film, watching it again now. Thor was the MVP imo.

So it’s Walking Dead’s Ross Marquand who has taken over the role of Red Skull.

Im probably going to have to see it again just to soak everything up. Spider-man's death hurt alot even though I know he'll come back. Him telling Stark "I dont want to die" line hit hard. And isnt Tony to only one on Titan still left?

Did they kill off any of the cash cows? Yeah. Enough of them that it seems likely the next movie will bring them all back to life and render the whole thing pointless. Yeah. To the point where I think it’s incredibly clear that we’ll see those that disappeared fight out of the soul stone in Avengers 4. Black Panther was the one that broke the suspension of bisbelief, asssuming you could get past thinking they’d leave Gamora dead. We literally saw Thanos use the time stone to bring Vision back. So I don’t really think they’re trying to get over on the audience. A4 comes out in a year and people largely understand this is the Empire Strikes Back. Even with that, the movie, in a vacuum, is flawless imo. So many amazing moments and the dynamic of the characters meeting, like Peter and Thor, Stark and Strange, and Peter and Thanos, was so good. I like that it felt like a Thanos film. He was the character who got development. So years of building and watching really paid off in that regard. You’re expected to know where we’ve been to get to this place. Too bad Rian Johnson couldn’t make that work with the Last Jedi because this is how it’s done. I’m seeing it again tomorrow. I have zero real criticism, though. I’ll give them a chance to have Thanos kill with purpose in A4. Tony or Steve is dying in A4 and won’t be coming back.

I remember at one point Thanos saying "There will be no resurrections this time". But the line was never really touched on again. It made it sound like there were consequences to resurrecting someone with the infinity stones. I have to wonder if perhaps the only way to bring folks back would be for someone else to take their place. Basically, I wonder if Cap an Iron Man will give themselves up in order to bring the others back? As amazing as this movie was, it really would render it pointless if they just got the glove, brought everyone back, they kicked Thanos's ass and that was that.

You have a great point about Cap and Tony ( possibly even Thor) sacrificing themselves in part 4 to bring the others back.....at least Cap specifically. He is the one who said "we don't trade lives" to Vision. I imagine that will be the great irony in the next one. That Cap is the one who trades his life.

How awesome was Ebony Maw in this movie? Creepy as hell! I hope he somehow survived, but it didn’t look good. He was great. I liked how little he actually moved but it was all subtle waves of his hands and deft turns to avoid being hit. As well as pretty much floating while chasing Strange. Certainly gave us a lot to process and ponder over going into the next films. Couldn't believe just how many people we lost but at a certain point I was sure they'd be coming back somehow in future. Can't really have a universe without half the heroes.

I have zero real criticism, though. I’ll give them a chance to have Thanos kill with purpose in A4. Tony or Steve is dying in A4 and won’t be coming back. They're definitely going to have to walk a fine line. Comic readers know how often people come back from the dead, so to us, it's not a big deal. I won't feel taken advantage of in the least, as long as A4 has a good story behind it. But, I can see people who only have exposure to these characters because of the movies feeling cheated if everything is hunkey-dorey at the end. I remember at one point Thanos saying "There will be no resurrections this time". But the line was never really touched on again. It made it sound like there were consequences to resurrecting someone with the infinity stones. As amazing as this movie was, it really would render it pointless if they just got the glove, brought everyone back, they kicked Thanos's ass and that was that. This is a great point. Everyone that's left now would have an emotional impact if they sacrificed themselves to bring someone back. Plus, everyone that's still alive is "expendable", at least in the sense of the greater MCU moving forward in a new direction. Also, for those that have read Infinity Gauntlet...Nebula is still alive. Nuff' said.
