The news about him being the goal line back securely put Parker in my top-15 players.

Yeah, I would wait to assess the situation at #5. If Barber falls out of the top-4, I'd take him.

Yah Fast Willie is gonna be full fledged back...Duece Staley sucks and its gonna be all Willie, so Id rate him Top 10 RB...someone you take with a first 3 round pick

Yeah, I would wait to assess the situation at #5. If Barber falls out of the top-4, I'd take him. Thats the thing though bro. My friend is in our league this year and its his 1st time playing fantasy football. So he's got the #4 pick, and he's pretty much said he's gonna go with Tiki. At this point - I might just end up sticking with the 5th pick - taking Portis , Edge , or S. Jackson - and then going after the best WR in the 2nd , or Willie Parker. I'm really liking what Willie can do this year, and I think his stock is just going to go up and up. What do you think about doing this? Is there another spot I could move up and still pull sucha thing off ? I've been testing it out in epsn's mocks.

I always say Im gonna go RB RB but I never do, it all depends on whos there coming back. I will break it down how I would go:
Alexander/LT/LJ Top 3 Edge/Portis/Jackson/Barber
Then after that its upto the owner...I personally say NO to Dom Davis, McGahee and Cackalack
So thats 10 picks right there...someone takes Peyton and someone takes Smith/Johnson in the first round. Thats how it usually pans out
If I grab one of the first 7 picks, I usually go WR next only if its Moss/TO/Johnson/Smith, or else try to grab someone sinking like a Parker, McGahee, Bush in the 2nd. Ive seen Brady and Palmer go in the top 2 rounds too

Anyways - what do u think - If I stick to #5 , take Portis , SJ , or Edge, and then come back and get the best WR available like one of the one's you named - will I have a good chance at getting Willie at my pick in the 3rd round ? LOL right now at the fantasy commercial on ESPN of the guy trying to say TJ Housh's name lol

I dunno, if you got 3 WR slots...you need to grab 1 in the first 3 rounds. There are a lot of good QB out there...but its tough, I dont think Willie slips to 3rd...grab him or Bush in the 2nd the a WR...unless a Harrison/Moss/TO are there then deal with Portis/? and your WR...its tough

It's tough - If anything I might deal my 5th pick to my brother - grab Edge at # 7 and then snake around and grab Willie. I think if I really want Willie though , I'm better to stick with the 5th pick. Also - there's the horrible temptation of taking Peyton with my 5th or 7th pick. Then I'd Grab Willie as my 2nd pick , and then take another back in the 3rd. I know there's so many QB's who can give out Manning like #'s but its so f'n tempting. What do you think bro? Most fantasy teams dont usually win with Peyton on they're roster.
Also - why the Hell isnt Fast Willie not getting 1st round type treatment?

I won in 2004 with Peyton.
Ummmm you got Palmer/Brady/Culepper/McNabb/Brees/Green who could put up comparable #s to Peyton, so I usually wait on QBs
I dunno why Willie isnt getting #1 RB treatment, hes not as good as the others I guess and the Steelers spread the ball out. Id grab him behind Bush though I think but now that I am thinkin about it Id take him over Davis and Cackalack

Why do u dislike the caddy so much lol Do you like my idea of taking Peyton 7th or 8th , and then coming back and grabbing Willie, and then taking another back in the 3rd?

Because Cadillac is a ****, him and Dom Davis ruined me last year. I will never take either of them again.
If you wanna go Peyton go for it, I dont advocate it, I go RB/WR/RB first 3...unless I dont care and see value left and grab a Brady or Palmer....Il post my drafts in a minute

So what, they're pretty accurate. So many damn question marks though this year. I'm almost better to trade up to 8th or 9th and try and grab Peyton - and then come back and take Willie if thats who I really want - that way , I'm closer to picking 3rd and 4th back to back. I like that, what do you think?

I dunno, I went with RBs in the first round unless I was at the bottom...someone might take Peyton and screw you, stay at 5...take one of the Portis/Edge/Tiki/Jackson and see who coems on the way back
