Mattel wise? I counted 24 Basic 75 Lana’s at TRU. 24! It’s a cute figure but it’s not cute in bundles. She is the Jacqueline of the Mattel era.
I didn’t have as many Psycho Sid figures as some of y’all, however he did clog the shelves at WalMart for eons. I feel like these two can be marked down to $2 and still would warm. I would have bought Lana because I want her but $10 for a figure that is literally piling up? Nah. $3.50, take it or leave it 😂

Dm warrior and e26 warrior.
Pretty sure e26 warrior was the downfall of most Kmart's.

Target HOF Tito Santana ... My closest Target has had five sitting on the shelves since the release.
I half jokingly told my buddy I want to buy the lot, keep one and return them to neighboring stores to put them out of there misery.

Bone crusher Dr Death and whatever the hell that Jackie was. My TRU has that dang Jackie until like 2010 it was trashed and would keep coming back. (I think someone just kept hiding it in the store for 11 years )

Nothing beats Tito Santana. I’ve never seen a figure literally collect dust like this one. All the Targets I go to still have him sitting on the shelf, most full of dust in a beat up box.

I wish all of your shelf warmers were the shelf warmers in my area. We don't get anything around here. Only one case of a wave for a whole entire island to share. I envy you guys in the US.

There would always be tons of Basic 49 Bo Dallas as well as the Elite 36 at every Target and Wal-Mart in my area.
I still see the Austin/McMahon and Bushwhackers BP 40 every now and then.

The diva figures tend to rot on shelves. Those basic Lana’s will out live toys r us. There’s also stacks of elite Alexa bliss for $7.99 at my deals and discount stores that I’m worried will never be sold. Women always rot unless they're short packed. People here throw a fit saying they wont pay RSC pre order prices (cause its like $15 more then retail) but then when they're more then 1 per case they sit on shelves forever.

Rollins Elite 52's are constantly gaining dust at my local Gamestop. If they weren't in such crappy shape, I'd buy one.

Semi-related. My local Walmart is really good about rotating old figures off the shelves. If something has been sitting for two months, they will pull it from the main display and mark it down to $9 and stick it in the clearance section.

In my short time collecting: -HOF Tito & Piper -NXT Asuka -Basic Lana -USA attire Sting DM at a local K-Mart right now Which is strange because I remember EVERYONE it seemed wanted a new Elite Piper, and then I see them at all these Targets. It was a good figure too from a household name who hadn't had an elite in 7 years.

It's sad that both the singlet Warriors didn't sell. They were good figures, and I'd wanted them for ages. NS Bayley was definitely the biggest shelf-warmer at my TRU. Even the lone Magnum TA and Sid eventually went, but Bayley hung around 'till the bitter end.

It was a good figure too from a household name who hadn't had an elite in 7 years. Piper was definitely not a problem in my area. When I think about Target and the average kid/parent consumer, it probably didn't help to have the Tough Talker Piper (also exclusive to Target) on the shelves for months before the release of the HOF figure. It probably didn't help sales, considering it was the same guy with a very similar look. If you are a kid and you already had the Tough Talker Piper, you're probably far more likely to get something else as opposed to the HOF 5 figure that looks similar to something you just bought recently.
