Tell new about it. I HATE that they bought ThinkGeek. Fairly certain they always owned thinkgeek and specifically launched it to try to be what it is They purchased thinkgeek back in 2015.

I saw a macho man at my local gamestop, and then I saw the price tag $29.99. Not a chance in hell. I already paid full price on the brock and joe figures, only a few months later and there on clearance. Also wanted a used copy of madden 17 for xbox before I have to upgrade, but not paying $40. Went on eBay bought it for $24. Gamestop is the next toysrus mark my words. Agree to disagree on that. Well the fact that they are a video game store and are dedicating more and more space in there stores for collectibles should already be a sign. The fact that there used games are so high i can easily find a better price elsewhere should be at least a major concern.

Hell I recently bought like 12 older PlayStation games from Humble Bundle for $15. And I got codes for a few current games. Everything I got would have been well over $100 at GameStop. Add the game streaming services that are going to only going to get bigger and you can tell that their future doesn't look very bright.

Really ? So you guys are perfectly ok paying $30 plus tax for a figure in a nice looking cardboard box ? If you let mattel do this it will be pretty soon the norm.
This is worse than the last few awful defining moment sets with little to no accessories, because they where $25.

Im an elite macho man collector but I’m passing on this one. I absolutely love the packaging and would probably have to buy it if not for the Honky tonk man one coming. The price is a turnoff, and for me personally I don’t go for patriotic attires.

Wow I stand corrected. We just got out local one last year so the GameStop version is all I know. Carry on...

This is worse than the last few awful defining moment sets with little to no accessories, because they where $25. I paid around $30 for each of the Matty Collector Legends, nearly $45 for Shockmaster, close to $30 or more for RSC exclusives, $40 for Dusty because had no need for the ring, $50 for Paul Bearer because wouldn’t have bought those basics otherwise (maybe Jericho), $40 for Fink and another $50 for Mean Gene in a tux (Gene elite + 3 BAF figs). It’s not a cheap hobby, sometimes you have to spend a little more to get what you want. What’s the alternative, don’t buy it and try to teach Mattel and GameStop a lesson that they won’t learn and miss out on a figure I want?

Or wait for a sale.
If I miss out, oh well. I can spend money somewhere else.
