Lesnar looked like a ing beast. He took down a gold medal judo champ in 10 seconds, and beat the hell of him for another minute until his opponent tapped out.

I ordered it as well, wouldn't miss it for the world. I would say I enjoyed watching as much as Goldberg enjoyed commentating it. I am a little disappointed though. I wanted Brock to beat him silly for at least a whole round.

I've never seen anyone beat someone that badly from the position Brock was in. Kim was holding onto him with his head right next to Brock's chest, making it a really difficult angle to mount any offense -- but Lesnar was punching him SO hard, it was ridiculous. That man can punch!

Brilliant. Lesnar can only continue to improve. If ths is any sign of things, the guy can be a beast in MMA.

Thanx big time for the link!!! U saved me $$$, big time! With proper training and patience, in time Lesnar could be an MMA phenom! I am really interested in seeing how good his chin is though. I remember the promos for the "Brock vs. Rock" match and the video of Brock training, specifically the punching bag scene, his punching/boxing looked horrible, but powerful, hopefully he developed a better striking game since then. His takedowns and ground n' pound will be his game and he looks comfortable with it already! This is his first fight and it's really hard to criticize or praise him because of such a fast fight and not seeing alot of his strengths and/or weaknesses; Hopefully he will take his time to develop his all around game and in time become a great!

Brock just dominated this one. But, it was a weak opponent IMO. This was a complete squash...it would have been much better if Brock had faced his original opponent.
I'd like to see what Lesnar can do when put up against a more skilled opponent. Even though it was a big squash, though, I'll admit that Lesnar was pretty damn impressive.

I think he'll actually spend his career there.

Lesnar wasn't even suppost to face this guy. Of course he won. He's like 5x's the guys size. Let's see how he does with someone his own size and who can really brawl.

You act as if they gave Lesnar some skilled opponent
They gave him someone he could beat

You act as if they gave Lesnar some skilled opponent They gave him someone he could beat Well, it was also his first fight ever. Most guys don't fight Randy Couture right out of the gate, especially if they think the guy has a bright future like Lesnar. Personally, I think that no matter where he ends up fighting, Lesnar needs to fight at least 2-3 more times before being given an even moderately-threatening opponent, simply because it's fair to give him a chance to learn the craft. Having Brock fight a top guy right away would be unfair to him as a rookie fighter and not very smart from a promotional standpoint either. Rookies should always fight other rookies (or low-level talent) until they gain the experience to move up, even if the rookie's name is Brock Lesnar.

Brock whipped that guy like he was his red-headed stepson...
I'd love to see Dana White bring Lesnar to the UFC... Lesnar/Arlovski, Lesnar/Couture, and Lesnar/Lidell are all potential main events I'd pay big money to see.
