Those matches were best keeping them short.

Im sorry but that sentence made my head hurt trying to make sense of it lol. Anyways, fron what i gather, in the early Wrestlemanias they would have 12-15 match cards and half would run short. I feel it was a way to get the majoriry of their guys a spot at Mania without giving it much storyline other than "Match announced for Mania, here's wrestler A with a promo, here's wrestler B with a promo, welcome to Mania". Also, i agree that those matches mentioned, should have gone short.

Who here remembers Coliseum Video clipping matches to death? SSeries 87&88 comes immediately to mind.

In fairness though they showed the tag team and the main event in their entirety. With the exception of the Andre v Jake team matches I doubt we missed much action in between. And OP, I agree with others, none of those matches should have been long. Those matches were Prime Time quality at best.

The CV clippings would confuse me so much. Survivor Series 1987 of course had the Bulldogs elimination missed but the one that confused me so much was going from one clip with the commentators talking about something to next clip with Jesse saying "they would have, Gorilla" so randomly.
