I had always been under the impression that they weren't purposely made combinations, but just whatever figures they were trying to clear out. Does anyone know if this is true? Using that logic, it would make sense that there would be combinations somewhere out there like Honky Tonk/Vince, Hillbilly/Mean Gene, etc., etc.
I would love to know if there is more concrete information out there. It would make collecting goals a lot easier if there weren't infinite combinations!

As far as I ever heard, that is the case. I never heard of or saw Mean Gene in any of them, but I did look at the link above and saw an opened box w/him included (so Who knows about authenticity)

Although I'd have to imagine there'd be tons of combinations as you said... but have only seen the ones mentioned above. Which seems odd.
