One of my favorite episodes of raw! It was the night of upsets. Kid beating Razor Ramon and Marty Jannetty winning the IC title by beating Shawn Michaels. I remember watching this live as it happened and during Kid vs Ramon my brother was like "come on change this, you know Razor is going to win". I didn't change it and we couldn't believe what we saw! Classic moment. I didn't see Jannetty winning live as it happened because I was little back then and had to go to bed. The Kid upset is the one everyone remembers more anyway.
What did you guys think of the Kid upset and how did you react?

I didn't have cable so I never saw it live. I remember the showed clips of it on Superstars of Wrestling the following week, but I was still 'meh' to it.
I think I appreciate it more now than I did back then, because now I know who the 123 Kid and that he made a name for himself in the business.

Well, even as 123 Kid there was something about him I just didn’t like, but that said I thought it was entertaining and well done.

I always wanted one of the no name wrestlers to beat a superstar, so this was like a dream come true for me.
I always wanted to see Dale Wolfe go on a winning streak in the WWF. My favourite jobber of all time.

123’s raw match with Bret did far more for me, but I was a gigantic Bret Hart mark as a kid.

This was all in the span of like a few weeks too.    With "L. KID" on his tights.  Lol wow,talk about throwing sh*t at the wall until it sticks. And to think that even 123 Kid wasn't the end of it. |

One of my favorite episodes as well. I was over my buddy's house last week on the actual anniversary so we watched with a few others. People overlook that the HBK/Marty main event for the Intercontinental belt won PWI Match of the Year for 1993.
Such a historic match and an episode that set the tone for Raw being unpredictable and must-watch. The ending with Razor eating a mouthful of 1-2-3 crotch always cracks me up.
