How do you not classify something that's 10 plus years old a flashback? Batista was with wwe about 4 years ago not 10. And HHH has never left. They are old attires but the same guys. It's not like Demolition Ax who later became RepoMan. It's not a case where the same guy did two completely different characters/looks. HHH was just at Mania, wearing pretty much the same exact gear but with a haircut. The only HHH figure I consider a flashback is the Spotlight one with his old snooty gimick when he first went to wwf. I'm well aware that HHH never left and Dave was there 4 years ago. I wasn't even acknowledging that. The attires and gimmicks are from 10 plus years ago.

I can't help but notice you don't have any of the rare tito Santana figure. Anyone cool has at least 3. Go grab a few before they disappear forever.

That Tito Santana is actually a great figure and I highly recommend it for any Flashback/Legends collector or fan who grew up watching wrestling in the 80s

They wore it 10 years ago.... that's not a flashback. Vince McMahon wore a suit 10 years ago. Does that mean you'd buy a Vince figure as a flashback? Undertaker wore pretty much the exact same thing at WM24 and WM34, that's why Mattel doesn't release a WM24 figure as a "FlashBack". I think you are confusing a specific event attire for a flashback. I guess this is a byproduct of current wrestling. Wrestlers have very limited options as far as where they can go and what they can do. And once they're on wwe TV they are pegged for life as the character they portrayed on TV. Flashback, look at the word itself. You're flashing backwards to a time gone by. You can't flash back to anything if you're still at the same place where you want to flash back to. You telling me a HHH figure, with his exact same gimmick and look is a flash back sounds like you telling me to remember back when McDonald's sold hamburgers and fries....... flashback/remember? It's all still the same today, nothing has changed. You see things one way. I see things differently. I just feel I'm right here because Mattel didnt label these as Flash Backs, they labeled them as Fan Central.

Your personal terminology is irrelevant. That would mean anything from the first couple series would/could be considered flashbacks too. I understand what he's trying to say. I think the better term would be "Legend" or "Classic" because while Flashback qualifies as anything in the past, only a few can be considered Legends.

Just my opinion, but I don’t view a Flashback as having anything to with a gimmick or whether someone is still with the company. They made a 2003 Royal Rumble Triple H.. it’s a flashback. WrestleMania 19 Kurt Angle, Flashback. This year’s John Cena WM Elite, Flashback. Just because it’s not an obscure Shark or whatever doesn’t mean it’s not a Flashback.

I’ve been an avid collector for marvel and some tv shows for about 7 years now. Always said I wouldn’t with wwe since there’s so many releases and exclusives and q.c issues. But..... I caved earlier this yearYeah, I'd been a big sci-fi and comicbook collector for about 20 years - and always said to myself I wouldn't start collecting WWE figures too, as there were just SO many. Once Mattel took over the licence though, it seemed the perfect jumping-on point and I couldn't resist...

But they weren't flashbacks at the time of release. If E1 cm punk was released now, definately a flashback. Legend killer orton is a flashback, so why not a triple h or Batista from a couple years later. I get what you're saying. I just think he is wrong with this one.

You see things one way. I see things differently. I just feel I'm right here because Mattel didnt label these as Flash Backs, they labeled them as Fan Central. ...so Bobby Heenan is also not a Flashback? The only figures Mattel are actually labeling Flashbacks these days are the Walmart Flashback series... that doesn't mean other figures aren't Flashbacks too though: E55 Undertaker, E57 Scotty Too Hotty, E59 Kurt Angle, E60 Giant Machine etc... all definitely Flashbacks. I do think there is a difference between Legends and Flashback figures though - and that's probably where some people get mixed up.

I caved earlier this year and wanted to show my progress. Started in February. Sorry about the lighting though. I’m fixing to pull the trigger on that Tyson Kidd, that figure is so awesome. The colors really pop on the white attire.
