Hi sorry if there's a thread like this already, I tried searching but didn't see anything with the first 10 pages that showed up.
I'm working on my arena and I want to use figures that aren't wrestlers as my audience. Anyone know of figures compatible with the mattel elites as an audience? Currently I have the mallrats & stranger things figures as my crowd but need more. Was gonna use some of the walking dead characters, but they seem smaller in scale. If anyone knows any other lines that would go well please let me know. Thanks in advanced.

Diamond Select and NECA figures are great for audience and authority figure filler.

What about buying up a bunch of basic Dean Ambrose and John Cena figures and loose shirts and CAS generic heads. Or basic Outsiders BPs and put generic heads on them. Plus you always have a group at ringside that cosplay as Macho, Flair, Hogan, etc. so maybe recreate that by throwing their accessories on a street clothed fig.

And don’t forget that Superman are Darth Vader are huge wrestling fans so you could use their figures. Not sure if you can find any ZZ Top figures that would work, though.

I think it would be better to have just a cut out backdrop type audience, getting actual figures to fill out a sizable audience will get fairly expensive

A lot of marvel and dc figures would work well.
Dc lex Luther *with hair* Suited joker or suicide squad joker with headswap Katana with headswap Steve Trevor Mutant leader with head swap Suicide squad Diablo with head swap Amazon Harley quinn in dress
Wonder man Star Lord Mary Jane
All have normal-ish clothes and are fairly cheap to buy except Mary Jane. And extra heads are so easy to come by that swaps are simple

I hope Mattel includes things like that more with certain sets. Like how they have those backdrops with the paintings of the Superstars. It would be awesome if they made those with a crowd backdrop graphic instead with each figure. One series could have the RAW red crowd lighting, another with the Smackdown blue, NXT yellow etc. I know they sort of did that with the one series that had the graphic of the stage and a bit of the crowd.

I’d rather just get a cut out, it would cost much less and would do the job. Something similar to what this guy used would be cool. (Awesome arena by the way, one of the best i’ve ever seen)

I like the idea of grabbing a bunch of Dean Ambrose figures (which are almost always on sale fairly cheap at RSC), do some head swaps with generic looking heads (Cody Rhodes, Ted Diabiase, Jr., Dean Malenko, ...), maybe paint their hair a different color so it isn't quite so obvious who they are, and put on the cloth shirts from other figures so they look like fans. Add in a few fans signs and bam... generic audience.
If you have the new security barriers and not the old railing styles, what is going on below the waist is even less important because it can't be seen from most camera angles so you could also buy a bunch of cheap basics, head swap, and put on a cloth shirt so they look like fans from the waist up. Or buy t-shirt series basics.
If you want an ethnically diverse crowd, throw in a few R-Truth and Hideo Itami figures. And of course, a few female wrestler figures because the ladies need some representation.
