Since Bill said the Target canceled the NXT series 3 basics. (If this isn't fully comfirmed please correct me)
Does anyone know the status of Series 4 of the NXT elites? Are we still getting them or are they canceled also?

Sorry. I cant really help. But I want my McIntyre, Black, Riott Squad, SAnitY and undisputed era elites.  Hope the nxt takeover 4 goes ahead too. |

He didn’t say they were cancelled. Someone asked about the Roderick Strong and Billie Kay figures in Series 3 and he stated he doesn’t know if they even are anymore but that both have been put into upcoming lines to make up for it.
That could mean the series was cancelled. Could mean they changwd the lineup entirely. We don’t really know for sure about Series 3 or the rest of the NXT lineup.
I’m with you though. I’d love some answers as this is my favorite line currently. It’s seemingly the only way to get new faces since it’s just the same wrestlers in the main line repeatedly.

Well, I am pretty sure Bill said he didn’t know if they were canceled, but he didn’t know the status of Basic Series 3. And he said he was looking at other options to release them So I would guess nobody knows the status.
This was Bill’s reply to the topic last week...
“I'm not sure if they even are anymore. The silver lining to this is that both have been placed in upcoming lineups to compensate for this. So you will be able to get figures of both, just not as soon as we would have wanted”

Well the wcw elite 4 pack was suppose to be cancelled, and i was about to order a larry z off of ebay then someone posted here they found it in the states.
So really who the hell knows anymore, all i know is target is still the #1 worst retailer for wwe mattel exclusives for the last 2 years easily.
So don't be surprised if rsc, big lots, ollies, or five below randomly get some leftover target merch.

Maybe Bill doesn't know because he's not in charge of basics anymore, Action Figure Attack is the marketing manager, maybe he knows? Yeah, at least Target will try new things if the other things failed, or get behind a good selling product. Walmart will sell through and discontinue $#!#, even if it seemed to go alright, like they don't carry Retros anymore, my store doesn't have Flashback Elites and I wouldn't be surprised if they find a way to fumble FBE2 before they get here. |

I think the Target exclusive crap should be eliminated all together. I’m not sure about anyone else but I have like 3 Targets around here but when I say around I mean like at least half an hour away. WalMart exclusives are about as bad but at least they seem to stock better. I swear Target gets like two boxes, sometimes scalped by employees, then never restocks. Their toy section isn’t as big and it isn’t a priority. They seriously make WalMart look like they’re doing a good job.
I’m against any more store exclusive sets tbh.

That title goes to Wal-Mart. Well i had 1 walmart restock the last tnf set 3-4 times, and walmart made it very easy to buy the new flashbacks recently. I could never say that about target and there exclusives. They are lucky to get one case of new stuff and there are usually one 1 in a set i want. Then you get there and someone else already beat you to it. That or you got the tito santana plague rotting on the shelves. |

I’m just always paranoid ever since everyone started buying American Gladiators on SNES the same weekend I did 😂 So yeah there is another reason I can’t stand store exclusives. I don’t see the reasoning behind it at all. Especially when you’re talking about a set with almost all new figures! I mean, how many “First Time” debut figures have we had in the NXT series? Too many. It’s like Mattel is wanting us honest collectors to go to online sources. I finally had to get Eva at a flea market. I was wasting gas going to Target. So that combined with what I would have paid retail, it evened out. If Target exclusives are sticking around then I’m gonna keep going to my flea market guy. At least he cuts me deals lol |

I was surprised the NXT basics are in limbo because they weren't selling badly at the stores I go to. All that's left at my Target is two KOs and an Eva.
