If Brock Lesnar never left WWE, what would be the implications of this universe? Would we see guys like Batista, Orton, and Cena rise to the top?

Smackdown and Raw may not have gotten rid of the draft.
Orton was a shoe in due to lineage. Cena was a workhorse and screamed ‘the wwe style’ at the time. Batista may not have been as prominent, but then again who knows. He outdid his expectations, considering he was initially brought in just to be a possible opponent to the undertaker at a wrestlemania.
Benoit and Eddie may not have gotten their runs, or only one of them, as Brock would have stayed in the title scene most likely.

Since old threads aren't allowed to be bumped it's good to recreate them to give newer members a chance to discuss a topic.

Batista would never have been a top star but I'm pretty sure Cena and Orton would've been fine because Cena was a money maker so he alone had a secured spot on top and Ortob has always been a favourite of Vince's.

That gets brought up every two months it seems. Although thankfully this newest Triple H thread wasn’t that.

Orton was going to be the #1, until Orton's shortcomings made him the distant #2. Batista, I don't feel like would of made top tier main event status. Lesnar would of been this juggernaut in the company. I even can debate if I guy like Edge, would of done as good as he did with a Lesnar not around.

Orton’s problems were his two shoulder injuries along with his failed wellness tests. His backstage attitude didn’t help either...which is a shame because with Orton, Brock and Cena I always felt Randy was the standout.

I have still never seen a wrestler come close to Lesnar’s technical ability at his size. his iron man match with Angle on Smackdown holds out in my memory - which makes lesnar’s recent few years so damn disappointing from a wrestling quality perspective.

Assuming he went over Goldberg at WM20,and that he never had a bout with diverticulitis, I think he'd have been a dominant heel for a long time. He's always been a better heel, imo. Maybe he'd have battled Cena over the title alot, possibly ended The Streak earlier. He was improving and not boring like he is now. In a REALLY wild alternative universe,he signs with TNA and winds up propelling them to being an actual threat. That's assuming they could afford his salary AND a wrestling ring.
