Keeping this place alive...buried alive!

ill see if I can upload pics to a better site than photobucket, they seem to be really crap now so i need to use something else

Foamboard base with wire mesh and paper mache for the frame. a coat of black, then brown sponged over it. I actually used a combination of dirt-textured spraypaint and used coffee grounds lol pretty simple, with a sheet of grass for scale models. The mound lid was just foam board, crumpled newpaper in paper mache, strips to level it out and same paint job

i ended up trimming the dirt mound slightly of course, after painting and such to make sure it fit in the hole







before i realized it was too small and had to expand the base











pretty simple but time consuming

ive actually never done this before lol just a lot of research and trial and error. im sure you can figure it out too

thanks man, now i just need either a 2-bedroom apartment for my collection or go in debt on a house like everyone else lol im bummed to see the site not like it used to be but i do my best to bring it back
