marino13 if you want to move this to the classic board he posted it there also so just combine them. But yeah WrestleMania is the answer although it would have been a horrible match. I don’t see Austin being able to carry Tyson through a match. And Tyson wouldn’t have done anything to help Austin. What they did with Tyson was perfect.

that would be a bad match to book, despite the drawing potential. then again, if jay leno got in the ring with hulk hogan then any match is bookable.

Who here remembers Tyson calling Austin ''Cold Stone'' at Royal Rumble 98? lol I remember more Tyson audibly saying "Oh s**t" when Austin's music hit during their first in-ring confrontation after the Rumble. Also calling Austin a "f****t" in the backstage area after the incident. |

Wrestlemania may have been a problem, because now you have Austin in two main events unless Austin doesn't face HBK....then you have a problem with an injured HBK having to drop the title to who now? The only one I can think of is Taker, but he had the story with Kane.
So perhaps a Tyson vs. Austin match could've happened earlier at No Way Out of Texas: In Your House, and the WWF would charge a "premium" for the PPV rather than the regular IHY prices and it would've worked. Maybe DX help Tyson win or something, and Tyson later becomes the enforcer for the main event at WM14.
Call it... WWF No Way Out: Tyson vs. Austin...I guess.
