I'm hoping Tito wins..but I don't know why, I change my mind now and I have a gut feeling he will lose. I completely forgot about Evans wrestling and I'm thinking his sprawl will be good enough to defend against Tito's takedown attempts. Tito's best chance, honestly, is probably to keep it standing. Despite his losses to Liddell, Ortiz is very good at stand-up. If the fight does go to the ground, Ortiz is going to be dead unless he can get in Rashad's guard and bring the ground n' pound. Rashad is actually a very bad matchup for Tito. There aren't many fighters in the world who are better wrestlers than Tito... But the thing about Ortiz is that you can never count him out of a fight - he's one of the hardest workers in the entire industry.

I'm still stunned Nate The Great gets a title shot, UFC barely covered the fights he's had in UFC due to his slow style & often boring fights. He is however a superb fighter & a serious threat to Anderson Silva.
My picks however are...
Anderson Silva Nog. Tito Sherk Florian
The MMA forums are full of posts saying Rashad is going to stop Tito but I don't see it myself. Yeah Rashad stopped Salmon, but big deal! Who the F**k is Salmon anyway, plus he was owning Evans throughout the first round.

^ Hey, the way I look at it is this. If Tito couldn't dominate and knock-out or tap-out Forrest Griffin, which he didn't, then I don't see him beating Rashad. There's no way. If anything, Rashad is tougher now than Forrest was when Forrest fought Tito. That's why my money is on Rashad all the way. Rashad Evans will beat Tito Ortiz tonight, mark my words.

Tito broke his leg in the first round of his fight with Forrest.
If Ortiz didn't have a broken leg, that fight would've been one of the biggest ass-whippings of all time. I like Forrest and everything, but he got absolutely DESTROYED in round one of that fight. I don't see how anyone could possibly give Griffin even 9 points in round one. It was a 10-8 round AT BEST for Forrest.
If anything, that fight was a draw; if you can convincingly give Forrest both rounds 2 and 3, even though he really didn't do anything.

I hope Rashad wins. Maybe if Tito loses his big mouth will shrink a little bit. I also hope Silva keeps his title so he can face Franklin again and beat him again. I don't know why people were giving excuses for Franklin losing last time when Silva beat him fair and square and is the better fighter.

No even If Tito loses he won't quit running his mouth haha that's who Tito Is and that's who he always will be. Remember all the trash talking he did before his fight with Chuch the 2nd time ? He lost but he Is still running his mouth about his fight with Evans. I like that about Tito, I really hope he wins tonight !!

Just because Tito didn't tap-out or completely shut-down Forrest (like Kliquid said) is because of his leg. I had no idea it was broken I thought it was just injured. But round one of that fight was beautiful. It was old-school Tito and should have been stopped IMO.. With the multiple punches and elbows to the head it was suprising that the ref didn't stop it.
It just seems in every fight that the UFC tries to stack the deck against Tito and MAKE him lose. But then when he wins they try to say "Oh yeah well so-and-so had an injury.." or "well it was an close decision"..
I hope after this fight Tito will get some recognition.
Like I said I really want him to win. BUt it is so hard to call because Rashad is an amazing wrestler. And Tito seems to forget that he is pretty damn good all around but he always relies on the take down and ground and pound. Rashad is an explosive striker...but if Tito gets him in a muay thai clinch and throws a few knees I think it can throw off Rashad...Titos knees are very underrated.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My heart picks Tito, but my brain picks Rashad. Either way, should be an awesome fight and I'm looking forward to ARN's debut.

My picks for the main fights:
Anderson Silva Sean Sherk Rashad Evans Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
I have a feeling Tito is seeing Rashad as a pushover, and will come in thinking he has already won the fight. I think Rashad is going to catch Tito off guard and pull off the win.
