Jason Marquis, you ing suck cock. He walks the bases full, hits Albert Pujols, and gives up a grand slam to Duncan. you, dickhead. welcome to the life of a cards fan from 04-06.

The bad news: The Yankees lose. The good news: Igawa is as good as gone. With the three game series against the Orioles coming up (Pettitte, Clemens, Wang) followed by a day off, so assumming they skip Igawas turn, Mussina will pitch game one against the White Sox, followed by Pettitte and Clemens and Wang game one against the Royals then barring injury the Yankees will recall Phil Hughes to pitch August 4th. So the only way they keep Igawa on the roster is if Hughes suffers a setback or they keep him as a reliever and demote Henn.
If it was up to me I would demote Igawa and Henn and recall Britton/Karstens and Hughes. We dont need 3/4 left handers.

haha those white sox announcers are rediculous. all they were doing all day was complaining about the size of the strike zone, playing replays of pitches saying they should have been strikes. complaining about check swing calls. i lol'd all afternoon at them normally Id agree with you because Hawk @ DJ are horible, but that strike zone was embarising today.

Torre said on the post game that even with the day off, the 5th starter spot will NOT be skipped, everyone will pitch on an extra days rest....however Torre said that it doesn't necessarily mean that Igawa will still be the 5th starter.
