When you fire sale, you usually get something decent.

The rumor is the Braves offering their 3 top prospects for Texeria...Andrus, Salty balls and Harrison, but if that was the case, Texeria would be waiving his tomahawk right now.
So who knows

Yankees optioned LHP Kei Igawa to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The loss last night dropped Igawa to 2-3 with a 6.79 ERA. While they won't confirm it yet, the Yankees are planning to skip the fifth starter around Monday's off day and go to Phil Hughes next weekend.

Indians got Kenny Lofton back. Here's the big question: Why? We have a speedy, well-hitting center fielder. Why the hell do we need Lofton?
At least they sent Cliff Lee down to Buffalo. God, that guy can't pitch for sh*t.

When you fire sale, you usually get something decent. That's not the case with Kenny considering he's a shitty gm.

Kenny Lofton is a great pickup, he can play LF, be the #2 or 8-9 hitter, get on base, cause problems for pitchers, especially till Delucci is ready

Do you even know what win shares mean and how to figure them out? No, I enjoy just throwing stats out of my ass to look cool. Things like this are what I do for my internship. So I'd like to think I know what I'm doing. If not, I do an incredible job fooling everyone.

Explain to the crowd what win shares mean please my son I'm literally not going to through the several steps in order to calculate win shares, as it's quite tedious. If someone wants to know how to (including you, as you're trying to be the "cool guy" trying to call my bluff) you can read a Bill James article. Or click this link: www.baseballgraphs.com/main/index.php/site/details/#sharecalcIn which it explains it thoroughly. And even if I were to explain it, you would find a way to say I just stole it from a website anyways. I'm not about to play your game.

Cubs minor leaguers Felix Pie and Josh Kroeger were removed from Thursday nights AAA Iowa game. Niether of which were injured, meaning unless the Cubs call up both, they may be traded.
If the Cubs trade Felix Pie, Jim Hendry needs to be shot in the head.
--
The Yankees remain intrested in Devil Rays IF ty Wigginton but want more then Wigginton in a trade for Scott Proctor. The Red Sox are also intrested in Wigginton but the Rays want Manny Delcarmen or Justin Masterson in return.
--
The Tigers remain intrested in Yankees RHP Kyle Farnsworth but have yet to make a firm offer leading some to believe they are tryign to work out a deal to spin him off once they aquire him. In any trade the Yankees would have to eat most of the remainign salary.

If they traded him I personally go kill everyone in the Cubs organization. All of those were credit mlb4u.com for anyone who thinks im making it up.
