Wondering something, to all that buy and play sports game.
Do you buy the new ones every year when they come out? like no matter what?
also when you play them do you play seasons on your own or online mostly? if you play any seasons about how many do you play before the new one comes out?
Do you always play as you favorite team?
my answers:
well with me I still use/own a 360 so I obviously don't buy sports game anymore cuz they don't make new ones for it anymore.
I always play seasons offline usually with salary cap turned off and lately on Madden 25 I control all teams and try to keep up with current rosters as best I can. The reason I still play Madden 25 is because its the last version hooked up with last ever made NCAA college football with it. Love seeing the players from my college go on to the NFL.
So far I have lost count on how many seasons I've played on those football games and NHL Legacy edition.
I usually always play as my favorite teams: Dallas Cowboys, Virginia Cavaliers(college) and Colorado Avalanche

I haven’t bought a sports game in several years but used to play them all the time. I would alternate years between Madden and NCAA Football. Play strictly franchise mode or local multiplayer. I recall playing close to 20 years in franchise mode in NCAA. I would build one team up, win championships, leave for another team, build them up, leave and repeat. I played NHL and NBA games too but couldn’t get into as much as I did during the 16 Bit generation.

I buy the newest each year. Only time I didn’t was for NBA 2K 9,15,16,17. NCAA Football was the game I’d never miss getting. (I miss NCAA Football) I start my franchise during the start of the regular NFL season. Same for the Basketball.

Yes, I always buy the new FIFA series ones every year when they come out. The main reason I purchased these games was for the Journey as I believe its an excellent concept that we saw in fifa and I really enjoy it. Recently, I had FIFA 18 kaufen, which has really a great career mode and many more great features are added to this series.

Madden and the MLB I buy every year. And I usually play about a half of year (MLB that usually 2 seasons) Madden that could be up to 10-15 seasons in Franchise mode.

Surprised there isn't a thread for FIFA 19. Rivals mode this year is great, most games now are competitive and rewarding. The FUT market is a bit erratic, some good players go for cheap and others are ridiculous. It seems really easy this year to put together a pretty good team, it's only been out a few weeks and I've already got as good a team as I had at the end of Fifa 18, though the step up into having a great team is something to grind towards. My luck with packs seems to have improved as well, I've already packed 4 TOTW players, and earned 2 90s and 1 89 from SBCs. I like the Journey story but it's a bit of a chore at times, should be finished it today though. All in all I've been really enjoying it and it's been fun discussing and comparing teams with my mates.

In terms of sports games, I only play MLB games. I love The Show and the RBI Baseball series is a bit of a guilty pleasure. I am fairly new to the Show, starting with 16 and I bought The Show 17, solely because of Ken Griffey Jr so yes, I've made it a thing to get every MLB release going forward.

Used to buy Madden, NBA, WWE, and NHL every year.
Now, I tend to buy at least WWE 2Kxx every year. Lately, I have been buying the NBA2k game as well. Sadly, I do not play nearly as much as I used to, but it is worth it for those few cold winter days that I want to chill and play some games.
