How would people feel about moving Balor in to take the title off WALTER down the line? Just as a traditional champ, and only temporarily, just to get more eyes on the product. It's an enjoyable weekly show, it just lacks viewers and transferring a bit of star power with a guy like Balor for a few months could attract a larger audience. I'd definitely love that idea. Balor's surprise appearance at TakeOver: Blackpool was what made the show memorable for me. And like you say, would help their ongoing problems.

Quite an enjoyable #1 Contender Women's Battle Royal on NXT UK. Some good spots, like Gabert saving Jinny, Ripley & Niven going after each other, Xia eliminating them both in a false victory. Also good continuity with Xia and Isla teaming up throughout.
Kay Lee Ray is a good choice, though hopefully now they decide on her alignment. At first she seemed like a heel with the way she talked backstage, but then she seems to have been a face the past few weeks. Either way, they've never strongly defined her.
I'm really enjoying this Rhea Ripley/Piper Niven feud. Both work really well against each other.
I hope Xia Brookside's strong performance is an indication that they have plans to push her. She's one of my personal favourites in the brand.

People should watch Joaquin Wilde vs Angel Garza, Character-wise Garza reminds be a good bit of Alberto Del Rio and I can already see him being put in against the likes of Gargano or the Velveteen dream and doing just fine. Wilde looked solid in the ring but I would want to see his character work more than what they showed.

damn I cant believe they put Grimes over Swerve. Also still glad to see Breeze still in NXT. I hope this means he gets the slow burn booking that way people will be really invested in him. I hadn't seen hardly any Strickland matches, so based on first impression, I felt sympathy and support for Isaiah Scott. And now I want to see him get his win back and see him strive to succeed. Most everyone here knows I'm old school as a cuss word, but Isaiah Scott won me over and made me want to see this new young fellow succeed.

I feel like whoever wins is someone they feel needs to win the tournament to most to get over. Honestly guys like Swerve and DJZ needed it the least so that’s why they are out.

I know they dont need it and neither does probably ACH but who do they give the tourney win push too? Garza? Reed?

Been catching up on NXT. Ive especially been following the breakout tournament. I'm not a big fan of them going back to the indy wrestlers changing their names again, but most of the names aren't that bad. Ive said from the first few matches i saw of him in AAA, that Garza Jr/Angel Garza is going to be a star. I can't wait to see what they'll do with him. Also a big fan of Joaquin Wilde/DJZ and Isiah Scott/Shane Strickland. I loved the segments with Adam Cole. Glad to see AIW get a plug. I go to their shows almost every time they put on a show.

Are they just making Damien Preist another Aliester Black? In the same way that Baron Corbin is another Corey Graves. It's just similar aesthetics, not character.

just seemed like it with the entrance and the pointing up at his burning name, when they talk about him on commentary they call him a rockstar.

I wasn't too fussed about a 3rd Gargano/Cole match, but a 3 stages of hell match is genius, especially with the added factor of them each picking a stipulation.
