From the Wrestling Observer "Aleister Black is out of action due to an injury that required surgery after he was crotched by Tommaso Ciampa at the house show in Las Vegas this past Saturday night" that sounds painful....

I decided to watch a couple of women's matches yesterday.
- Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks from TakeOver: Unstoppable doesn't get enough love. I feel the goal was to further elevate Sasha to the next level was accomplished. As for Becky, I feel this really started her face run which continues to this day. Not only an underrated match but one that people fail to realize how snugh both women were here.
- Asuka vs. Bayley from TakeOver: Dallas. What more can I say. The finish of the match made sense. Bayley passing out made Asuka look real dominant while telling Bayley gave it her all. If you haven't seen it in a while, it is worth revisiting.
- Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler from the 2017 Mae Young Classic Finals was alright. I feel Sane carried Baszler for part of the match. I have no doubt their TakeOver: Brooklyn 4 match would be better than this. The story of their third outing is already written. Shayna Baszler has picked up the business at such a pace that it reminds me of Kurt Angle. It is only natural Kairi Sane becomes champion at TO: Brooklyn 4 and faces Io Shirai at TakeOver: War Games 2

Shaynas improvement has been staggering and she's quietly become one of the company's best champs currently

I don't like combining NXT, 205, UK, and MYC in one thread To be honest, I'm agreeing with you. I may be changing back it soon.

To be honest, I'm agreeing with you. I may be changing back it soon. Maybe just have on stickied thread for each one? That's how it used to be. But a few weren't getting much traffic. So the idea was pitched to combine all the lesser shows into one. I liked the idea at first, but it's kind of a mess at the moment. I'll work on it soon. Probably just revive the old one and sticky them again.

Okay everyone... I put it back how it used to be. With the only slight modification being I'm keeping the UK:NXT show in here with NXT. 205 Live has it's old thread now and I painstakingly moved all the 205 Live comments from here to that thread. Much like Thanos, I feel I have restored balance to out beloved WFigs Universe.

Tonight's card looks fantastic (surprising no one, since NXT is the real A-show). Johnny Gargano vs. Aleister Black Taynara Conti vs. Vanessa Bourne (MYC Qualifier) Keith Lee Debuts Day 338 of no (regular) TV appearances by Donovan Chris Dominik Dijak ovic.

Enjoyed NXT tonight. Setting up TakeOver nicely.
Keith Lee is going to be a major player.

I watched NXT. I hope next week they edit in that Aleister Black cant compete at Takeover cause of an injury. Vanessa Borne continues to be drop dead good looking. I'll be completely honest about Keith Lee, I'm not that impressed with him. That could change overtime, but right now I can't name anything that impresses me.

marino13 thank you for restoring the balance! NXT Aug-8-2018 Amber Nova vs Nikki Cross: - mechanic Nova is pretty but her gimmick reminds me of a female Sparky Plugg - Nikki's win keeps her name floating and not forgotten with all the female talent Ricochet's no-show: - I love this guy's theme! - simple but effective story-telling to move this feud along Vanessa Borne is GORGEOUS! Kassius Ohno vs. a Capaeira jabroni? - I know Ohno has a following on Wfigs, but this guy doesn't impress me in the least. - I prefer him being a stepping stone to the main event, so I get that he needs these meaningless wins, so when a <name> does beat him it matters. Dream & EC3 vignette: - oooohhh 80s throwback, dreamy vignette! - these two guys are mega stars, why are they not on the main roster?!! - I don't want them to fight at takeover because Dream will probably job again - I'd prefer they form a kick ass stable; these guys both have major character - "Dude...it's 3 feet deep!" Marcel Barthel vs Keith Lee: - debuts aplenty, but I have to say while Marcel Barthel is a stupid wrestling name, I think he had a brilliant showing - Keith Lee doesn't impress me...yet. There's a tinge of Dusty Rhodes in him, but I don't get the hype yet. He can move like a cruiserweight? So can the War Raiders, so can Killian Dain...so what sets Keith Lee apart? Subtitles might help these Street Profit commercials...and I'm brown! Vanessa Borne vs. another Brazilian Capoeira/judo chick? wtf can't Brazilians just wrestle? - Congee or Conti...what is it Mauro!!!?? - I can't believe Vanessa lost... Conti is a first round loser in the MYC - Call me if you're reading this Vanessa Gargano vs Black: - These guys are no bigger than 205 guys but they have more character in their pinky than the entire 205 roster - The sequence between these two is smooth....AAaaand here's the expected run-in - creative way to keep the Gargano/Ciampa feud going by sucking in Black. - Regal is to 3-ways what Teddy Long is to tag teams playa!

I'm loving the dynamic between Dream and EC3. These two are easily NXT's top character players right now. I just wish they had more time...that vignette started so nicely and then it was just over.

Looks like Black is out. Which sucks! But I love how they are writing him out....
{I tried to post the video but it keeps changing the code to say spam, so it's not playing properly. **** me, right? Just pretend you there is a video above that shows Black laid out cold. As Regal checks on him, you see Gargano, Undisputed Era, & Heavy Machinery in the area. A good old fashioned "who done it?"}
Been begging WWE to do more of this for years. Glad NXT delivered.

Been begging WWE to do more of this for years. Glad NXT delivered. I really like the way they made the video. With gargano walking by regal and undisputed era driving away fastly. What I didn’t notice was around the 44 second mark you see Lars Sullivan walking away and looking back at black

Y'know the "who-dunnit" angle is fun and all, and they are all about naming suspects, but I think it's all red herrings.
The real culprit is LARS SULLIVAN.
Since Black fractured his jaw, Lars has a bone to pick -erm- yeah! That's the guy we need to look for in the coming weeks.
