Howdy gang; Thought I'd share a pic of my very first and very last TRU purchases. I picked up the LJN Tito Santana when TRU first opened in Boise, Idaho in the mid/late 80s. And the last TRU pickup, the Mattel Ultimate Warrior VS. Honky Tonk Man set, was made at the Jantzen Beach TRU in north Portland, Oregon. https://www.instagram.com/p/BjsferVAjga Anyway, would love to hear more stories/pic shared by fellow WFers!! If bored, feel free to give me a follow on IG, as well. Cheers!

Don't have pics but my first TRU purchase, at least that I remember, would also be the first video game I ever bought for myself with my own money. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on Genesis. 1994, for my 8th birthday, got it with money I got in cards that year.
And my last was The Festival Of Friendship 2 pack.

My last toys r us purchase was fan central Bobby heenan. The first purchase I made would’ve been back in the 80’s and I don’t remember. It was probably a Star Wars toy or a matchbox car.

I honestly can't remember my first TRU purchase. Most of my action figures came from KB and Hills through the late 80's/early 90's. But at the height of the Attitude Era, my dad would take me nearly every Saturday to TRU. The store got a truck Friday, and would have the shelves freshly stocked on Saturday morning. So many great memories of finding new figures.
My last TRU purchase came a couple weeks ago we picked up an Atari 10-in-1 game.

Oh man... As far as WWE stuff goes, my last purchase is going to end up being Lost Legends Warrior and HBK. My first purchase (like with my own money) would have been BCA Owen, Shawn and Diesel.

The 1st toy I remember going into TRU and getting with my allowance was Hasbro Virgil. I am sure my parents got me stuff from there before then though.
The last item I got from there was oddly enough Virgil which I ordered online. I haven't stepped foot into a TRU in years. I think the Ricardo BAF set was what I was looking for.

I believe my first was the Marvel Secret Wars Wolverine figure(I had no idea who he was, just thought he looked cool). My last purchase was yesterday and I picked up the J&J Security Battle Pack and a Porg window hanger doll.

I can’t say for sure because its been a long time ago, but the first thing I remember getting from Toys R Us was my brother got the 2nd Hasbro Ultimate Warrior and I got the 1st Hasbro Hulk Hogan. I really wanted to get that Warrior that he was getting, but since I already had the 1st Hasbro Warrior, I decided to get Hogan so he could wrestle my Warrior. Plus I figured I could play with his Warrior figure while he wasn’t. I just always thought the slamming Warrior was cooler than the jumping Warrior.
My last purchase was Elite Lost Legends Warrior and HBK. I already had both of these but they are my 2 favorites and I figured I could use them for customs.

I dont remember my first. The first as an adult with my own money, was a Michael Jordan figure of 'the shot.
My last was retro Goldberg.
This is the saddest non death of my life. My kids are being robbed of one of my favorite places to go as a child. All the toys r us kids grew up.

The first one I remember is RA31 John Cena and Batista. I got the Cell that day too.
Last one was the UK Exclusive Tyler Bate. I was gonna buy a NS Austin but my local TRU sold out of WWE stuff FAST.

Great topic.
I cant remember my very first purchase, but my earliest memory of shopping at Toys R Us would be buying GI Joes in 1988 and looking up at the shelves that were like 10' tall and filled with figures
I kept a log of all my TRU purchases retroactive to Mar 8 when it was reported they were going out of business, but my final one was the Jakks Ric Flair robe on Fathers Day weekend
There you have it, Ive been a customer for 30 years and Im crying just thinking about it
