I honestly only buy for the stands. And depends on the figure. The roode was good cause of the robe. This new Bálor, meh. Just want the stand. Heard the next eg is gonna be rock?

Yeah, I’d rather them just get rid of them altogether. Not worth the price and the stands IMO aren’t worth the extra $$$. I got Angle and skipped Hardy and Roode. If there were more accessories I’d be fine with the price, but just for a music stand? No thanks.

how about we just get rid of any kind of "premium" figure and just release these guys in the 20 regular elite lines that come out every year

I'm a fan of the EG. They look good on a shelf and it's a cool novelty

Can't agree with you more! Spend that money on more accessories. (Looks at the Entrance Greats Finn Balor) "OH Mmyy Ggoodness!" (Martin: Shanaynay voice) On the flip side, look at GAB Sting, Maniacs Ultimate Warrior, and Thuganomics Cena. And really Vengeance 01 Jericho. All 4 that could have been in regular Elite waves and didn't need the extra cost associated with EG. Very true! Now we know that Mattel is lying to us about money because they can add a music box to Entrance Greats and the useless stands for the Elite line. So Bill has no more excuses about why we can't get rid of those things and get more accessories.

I'd scrap the music feature and make the stand a background of the signature stage that attire/entrance is from. For example: - Roode would have the NXT Orlando stage (With his graphics) - If Jeff's attire was actually based on Armageddon 2008, he'd have that stage.
So on so forth, two i'd love to see done are - Elias: Guitar, Stool, Scarves and Shirt. Black crowd backdrop with phone lights and a spotlight. - Seth Rollins: WM34 attire with shirt and alternate blue contacts head. WM34 stage background with blue eyes.
The background would be big enough to fit in the box but also not be too small.

I would have had them keep the Defining Moments line even if the figures aren’t necessarily “defining”. Atleast we were paying $24.99 instead of $29.99. That Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy are not worth anymore than $20. I can deal without that crappy stand that plays music. I will be picking up the Bobby Roode and Finn Bálor whenever I see them.

I pack the music box away and display the figure without it.

I don’t mind them. I think its cool to have the theme music as part of your display. I just hope we get a Warrior, Savage, Hogan, DX, Bret etc. , as I have more use for them than Balor, Hardy, and Roode.

Yes it should be scrapped and return to Defining Moments. Can't agree with you more! Spend that money on more accessories. (Looks at the Entrance Greats Finn Balor) "OH Mmyy Ggoodness!" (Martin: Shanaynay voice) This! They can leave the EG line alive, but more acessories instead of the music box it would be better!

Mattel gives you too much you complain They give you too little you complain. Leave everything as it is and just appreciate what you have.

Mattel prices are really starting to turn me off and honestly are all over the place. Take the build the heart break hotel set. 22.99 each and you’re getting some quality accessories there. Normal elites are up to 22.99 in some stores and you don’t get half that stuff. Entrance greats are just a way for Mattel to grab more money. I bought Angle because I wanted a flashback angle. I didn’t care in the slightest about that music base. I want fairness in the lines Don’t make a DM like Surfer Sting say it’s because of the deco it can’t be a regular elite then have Ryder the same exact way.

Here in the UK, the Entrance Greats cost a whopping £32.99 ($43 USD) - meaning we're basically paying £12.99 (approx. $17 USD) more than a regular Elite, for a music stand and fancy packaging. At least with Defining Moments, the figures were only about £5 more than regular Elites - and more often than not had extra accessories (Austin and Jericho's belts) or an accessory that wouldn't fit in the budget of the regular Elite line (Macho and Flair's robes). Not to mention, the DM boxes look much nicer than the EG ones...

Screw that noise! It should be expanded, for shelf collections it is a fun extra feature... I look forward to a Hall, Nash or god forbid Hollywood Hogan, that has the nWo theme base.

No. I really enjoy it. It’s on the display shelf with the figure. And if I want to hear his theme all I need to do is push the button. I'm with his opinion (y) Specially because is true, that is something special that makes the figure special and unique.

Don't care whether the keep the music boxes or not. Find people saying they need to go back to DMs for more accessories funny tho. Last DM Warrior only came with sunglasses. I think it's because they were better value. Why buy a more expensive figure with a music box you don't need or use?

Looking at it from the perspective of kid playing with the figures or figure feds I'd say yes. Nowadays it seems almost every kid has a smart phone or access to one to play any theme they want quickly. But from say the collector standpoint and someone who has them on shelves displayed, that is where it's novelty is I think. For either yourself or a guest or friend walking in that you are showing the collection to, it is really neat and entertaining to walk up and press the button playing a theme or various themes for the all the different figures. I get what you mean but I can't justify £13 just for a novelty item.
