I actually like this accessory and think it is cool as a moc. I also think it's good for children to play with my daughter loves them.

Mattel gives you too much you complain They give you too little you complain. Leave everything as it is and just appreciate what you have. I don't think he was really complaining as much as giving his opinion. There's a difference, trust me. While the music boxes are cool, perhaps they add to the cost making the figure undesirable in price to certain collectors. I don't mind them, but I don't blame those that don't. We're all consumers here. Opinions are valid.

They need to do something to get the price ‘right enough’ so that they get them on the shelf at Target and (at more/most) Wal Marts
My area consists of probably 20-25 Wal Marts. Maybe 2 or 3 ever had Angle. Never seen Hardy or Roode. Several have done their resets and no spot for Entrance Greats
If your consumer is going to be online, I would think that would NEED to appeal to the adult collectors more. Putting regular or less accessories than a normal Elite line figure and a music box isn’t cutting it for most
I caved and bought Angle because I was a huge Angle mark for that era
I caved and bought Hardy because I never got the bootleg of E1 and it’s just sort of a special figure (to me at least)
No way that Bobby Roode or Finn Balor is worth that to me. And please, please let that rumor of Asuka being in this line not be true or it will be the death of it.

Funny I felt the Angle was definitely worth it. And Roode and Finn were both worth it for me because of the music bases. Although with Roode I had other figures come with him so there was a bigger discount which basically paid the shipping. Finn I only ordered by itself so the shipping put it at $36 after the 10% discount. That was about $10 more than I would have liked to pay. That said I wanted it and preordering was the only way I would be guaranteed to get it.
Because between the 3 WalMarts, 4 Targets and 2 TRU I hit regularly only TRU ever carried them. Like I said above there is a KMart about 30 minutes away that had Angle Saturday, but I only go to that store maybe once every two to three months.
But going back to the figure selection for the relaunch so far the Hardy was an easy pass for me. I wouldn’t buy the Hardy even if it was on clearance. I have never seen the appeal of the Hardy’s. And as they have gotten older I have an even less tolerance for them. The promos they are cutting now are absolutely cringeworthy.

The one I preordered from RSC was like $25 after the discount and the other figures (3 RSC DX HBK Figures) I had ordered with it. That 10% off my order paid for my shipping plus a little extra. So for $5 more than a regular Elite it got me the base and it under my tree for Christmas. That was worth it for me. And then the second one I got at TRU was $15 because it was $25 and I had $10 rewards coupons.

If I was into collecting music boxes I wouldn't be on here. Well I am from America so it wouldn't cost me single euro. You also don't know how the cost of the stand is allocated and no one is forcing you buy him. That's what gets to me pos to on this board. No one is forcing you to buy anything and it's all a choice. I think what it really boils down to is what you can others can and cannot afford. I have a good paying job so it doesn't bother me to spend $25-30 on a figure. Not sure about your current working situation and to be honest I don't care. If you don't like it, don't buy it. END

The people on here that spend money on the product and not their parents are the one's who opinions matter. However we live in a time where people can remain faceless and would rather complain than cause change. You cast a vote with your money, not pandering to the people on here.

As a MOC only collector, this series does nothing for me because there is no RSC defender case for it, and I'll always have to think about the fact it is battery powered for long-term purposes. I personally wouldn't care if it went away. I prefer DM figures.

Not sure about your current working situation and to be honest I don't care. If you don't like it, don't buy it. END 1st off I think I did a pretty good job of working out the price of the stand to be honest, considering its £20 for an elite and £33 for an entrance greats. As far as the numbers go I think they speak for themselves as it's basically a standard elite figure with a glorified music box. At no point in my discussion did I say I was forced to buy any of them. I also was not asked if my current job and living situation allowed me to purchase an action figure. The thread is titled "should the entrance greats music box be scrapped?" Not "Can I afford entrance greats figures?" My answer to the thread was 'yes' as I believe it should be scrapped, not because I cannot afford a music box, but because I would rather 'not' be paying an extra £13 for a figure I want with a stand I don't need nor want.

If it lowers the cost of the figures, then yeah, I say it should go. It doesn't even play that long of a clip of the song to really make it even worth it being there.
Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, and Finn Balor all could have and should have been just regular Elites at regular Elite cost....Bobby Roode is on the fringe because he actually did get a full cloth robe instead of a hard plastic shell....but so did Elite 54 Charlotte and she was able to be in the regular Elite line at the regular Elite price. So if full cloth robes CAN get in the main line, then really what do I need EG for and that box that plays such a small clip of the music at that high of a price point?

I think 30 seconds of their entrance music is enough for me. There was some child (6-8 years old) at the Palisades Center Target Sunday morning with his mom who must have been at MSG the night before, because his mom said look there Braun Strowman and there’s the Undertaker you saw them both last night. Anyway he had his mother’s cell phone and was playing Daniel Bryan’s “flight of the valkyries” on a non-stop loop! Very annoying. So yeah 30 seconds is plenty. lol
l love the concept of them and Bill clearly listened to everyone who was saying with the initial line they should have been Elite figures. So yeah the $25-$30 price range was what I expected them to be.

The big difference to me between the original line and this one is that most of the original line captured unique or special entrance gear. The Dibiase suit, undertaker hat, tie and coat for example. What about angle or hardy was entrance pieces that made them more special than a regular elite? Price is fine if the figure is really special for an entrance, but just having the music box? Not quite.

Entrance greats were $20 back when they were Basics. And the basics were $7-$9. So if they added cloth entrance attires to them now that would push these up to $30-$35 now.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people here, myself included, have jobs and bills and are stating their opinion on this subject. Pro or con. People do vote with their wallets. From what I've seen, many EG's stick around on the pegs in my area. Me, I could take them or leave them. If it gets some of the attires or characters out there that I wanted great. Ringside, shut up and take my money. If not, well there's something I can save on.
